Job Title: Product Testing Senior

The Opportunity

Our Global Payroll Operate practice is dedicated to helping clients effectively manage their global payroll needs across 150+ countries. As part of this mission, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior agent to perform testing activities for our Global Payroll Tools. Our global payroll tools are constantly updated, having major releases every quarter. This role is critical in ensuring that our clients in production are not impacted with regression issues and testing as well the new functionalities, reducing the number of escalations received if there are impact in client deliverables after a release. The testing senior is responsible to help defining the testing strategy, execute the test scenarios and report any finding to the GPO stakeholders and Client Technology, ensuring that issues are solved in time. As well between releases, this team will coordinate the utilization and populate the demo environment used by Client Solutions, utilizing it like a real client and doing continuous testing. This role requires deep understanding of our tools and reporting and communication skills for any findings.

 

Your Key Responsibilities

  • As the Senior in the testing team, you will be responsible for:
  • Develop Testing Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive testing strategies and plans.
  • Test Planning: Design test cases, scenarios, and scripts based on product requirements and specifications.
  • Conduct Testing: Oversee the execution of various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
  • Analyze Results: Review and analyze test results, identifying defects and areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product development teams, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality standards and testing requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives in the testing process.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on testing progress, results, and quality metrics to management and stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to product quality and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Demo Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective demo strategies that align with the company's goals and target audience.
  • Demo Preparation: Ensure that all demo environments are well-prepared, including the setup of up-to-date data, different countries, entities.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to report progress, challenges, and outcomes of testing and demo activities.
  • Identify areas of improvement and recommend strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and develop tailored reports and visualizations to support their requirements.

 

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in global payroll, system integrations, project management, or a related field, preferably within the payroll or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, data management, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive team player with the ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
