Senior – Commercial Management Office

The CMO Senior will be aligned to one of our high-profile engagements and managing contract from a commercial, financial and engagement perspective and will assist the Commercial Controller on the engagement to deliver the deal finances and contractual requirements for the deal. You should be commercially minded and have some finance and engagement management experience.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Gain an in-depth understanding of the client deal financials.
  • Work with the Management Lead and Commercial Controller to ensure the contract is being executed as it was written and intended.
  • Own and improve the existing processes for scope & fee maintenance, billing, budgets, forecast and cashflow position across the deal.
  • Develop a mechanism to correctly report revenue and margins across workstreams and countries. Identify the areas of risk and implement solutions to reduce them.
  • Review and challenge financial performance and make recommendations for improving profitability.
  • Understand country fee allocation methodology of in scope and out of scope deliverables and improve communication with local stakeholders.

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • Strong excel and Power BI skills
  • A self-starter who demonstrates business acumen through understanding and prioritising business challenges
  • Ability to identify process gaps and ensure accuracy and efficiency of commercial processes
  • Able to build relationships with stakeholders in a multi country and matrix structure
  • Bring insights to business problems

 

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Robust understanding of financial and commercial drivers and interdependencies
  • Flexible to meet changing needs
  • A recognised accounting/ management qualification

 

Desired experiences:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/commerce/Tax and Master’s in business administration
  • 8-10 Years of overall experience
