Senior SAP BTP AI core with Python

(SAP AI Core, AI Launchpad, Python, CAP & API Integration)       

• • • We are looking for a Senior SAP BTP AI & ML Engineer (4–8 years) with strong hands-on experience in SAP AI Core, AI Launchpad, Python, and SAP CAP-based API development. The role focuses on building, integrating, and supporting AI-enabled side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP, following Clean Core principles.

Key Responsibilities

• • • Solution Development
    • Develop AI-enabled applications on SAP BTP.
    • Build and deploy ML workloads using SAP AI Core and manage lifecycle via AI Launchpad.
    • Develop Python services (FastAPI / Flask) for ML inference and orchestration.
    • Build SAP CAP services (Node.js / Java) for business logic and API exposure.
    • Deliver side-by-side extensions for S/4HANA or ECC.
    • CAP & API Integration
    • Design and implement OData v2/v4 and REST APIs using SAP CAP.
    • Integrate CAP services with S/4HANA/ECC, SAP Integration Suite, and external systems.
    • Implement API security using OAuth2, XSUAA, scopes, and roles.
    • Support API exposure via SAP API Management.
    • AI / ML & MLOps
    • Implement training and inference pipelines in SAP AI Core.
    • Package and deploy models using Docker.
    • Use AI Launchpad for experiment tracking, versioning, and monitoring.
    • Work with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn, or ONNX.
    • Integration, Security & Operations
    • Build integrations using SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration).
    • Use HANA Cloud / Datasphere for data access and preparation.
    • Support CI/CD, BTP TMS, logging, and monitoring (Cloud ALM).
    • Troubleshoot application, API, and AI runtime issues.
    • Collaboration
    • Work closely with architects, functional consultants, and integration teams.
    • Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and sprint deliveries.
    • Maintain technical documentation for CAP services and APIs.

Required Skills And Experience

• • • 4–8 years of SAP technical development or integration experience.
    • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry / Kyma – preferred)
    • SAP AI Core and AI Launchpad
    • SAP CAP (Node.js / Java)
    • API development (OData & REST)
    • Solid Python skills for AI/ML services.
    • Added advantage: Experience with Docker, HANA Cloud, and Integration Suite.
    • Good understanding of Clean Core and side-by-side extensibility.
