Job Title: Senior Consultant – SAP PaPM (Cloud & On-Premise)

Experience: 4–8 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced SAP PaPM Consultant with strong expertise in both PaPM Cloud and On-Premise implementations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in PaPM modeling, financial simulations, and integration with core SAP systems. The role requires a strong blend of technical depth, functional understanding, and problem-solving capabilities to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement solutions using SAP PaPM (Profitability and Performance Management)
• Build and maintain PaPM models, including allocations, calculations, and simulations
• Configure and work with PaPM functions such as:
  • Allocations
  • Calculations
  • Joins
  • Views
  • Writer
  • RFA (Result Functionality Architecture) Functions
• Develop and manage Process Templates and reporting frameworks
• Translate business requirements into scalable and efficient PaPM technical designs
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of models using SAP HANA capabilities
• Integrate PaPM with SAP S/4HANA, BW/HANA, Datasphere, and external systems
• Develop and consume APIs/OData services for data exchange
• Support testing cycles, UAT, and production deployments
• Troubleshoot issues, debug models, and resolve production defects
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, finance teams, and cross-functional teams

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP PaPM (On-Premise and/or Cloud)
• Expertise in:
  • PaPM modeling and configuration
  • Allocations, Calculations, Joins, Views, Writer, RFA functions
  • Process Templates and reporting
• Experience in end-to-end PaPM implementations or rollouts
• Strong knowledge of:
  • SQL / SAP HANA modeling
  • Performance optimization techniques
• Good understanding of Finance & Controlling (FICO) processes
• Experience in integrating PaPM with:
  • SAP S/4HANA
  • SAP BW/HANA
  • SAP Datasphere
  • External data sources
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in SAP PaPM Cloud (BTP-based deployments)
• Exposure to SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Knowledge of OData services and API-based integrations
• Experience working with cloud-native architectures and data pipelines
• Familiarity with financial planning, profitability analysis, and costing scenarios
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps practices

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
• Ability to work independently and drive deliverables
• Proactive, self-driven, and adaptable to dynamic environments
