As a member of EY’s core Tax practice, you’ll develop a deep tax technical knowledge and outstanding database, data analytics and programming skills.

Ever-increasing regulations require tax departments to gather, organize and analyse more data than ever before. Often the data necessary to satisfy these ever-increasing and complex regulations must be collected from a variety of systems and departments throughout an organization. Effectively and efficiently handling the variety and volume of data is often extremely challenging and time consuming for a company.

EY's GDS Tax Technology team members work side-by-side with the firm's partners, clients and tax technical subject matter experts to develop and incorporate technology solutions that enhance value-add, improve efficiencies and enable our clients with disruptive and market leading tools supporting Tax.

GDS Tax Technology works closely with clients and professionals in the following areas: Federal Business Tax Services, Partnership Compliance, Corporate Compliance, Indirect Tax Services, Human Capital, and Internal Tax Services. GDS Tax Technology provides solution architecture, application development, testing and maintenance support to the global TAX service line both on a pro-active basis and in response to specific requests.

EY is currently seeking an RapidApps– Tax Senior to join our Tax Technology practice in Bangalore, India.

The opportunity

We’re looking for a Tax Senior with expertise in Power Platform/ SharePoint Pro Code Development to join the TTT team in Tax SL. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a pioneer firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of a new service offering.

• Candidate should understand complex tax concepts and use technology to support data modelling, research, visualization, presentation or process automation
• Candidate should have strong analytical skills as well as self-assured decision-making ability.
• Candidate should be able to propose the solution based on the Understanding of the overall Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint ecosystem
• Candidate should Design and develop the efficient power apps and power automate solution.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Skills And Attributes For Success

Must-Have:

• Proficient in Power Platform pro code development with understanding of various Power Platform SDKs (For eg: Power Component Framework (PCF), Dataverse plug-in using C#, TypeScript)
• Proficient in SharePoint development using SharePoint Framework (SPFX).
• Power Pages development experience.
• Strong knowledge of React.js or Angular along with HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, typescript.
• Familiarity with common data service operations and the Dataverse API. Integration of Dataverse with azure services.
• Proven experience in developing solutions for Power Platform and SharePoint integrated with Azure cloud Services.
• Excellent development experience of Power platform Application Lifecycle management (ALM), Custom components/ add-in/ connectors etc.
• Good understanding of Power Platform licencing model.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Conversant with Agile methodology.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience in developing Microsoft Teams native app.
• Knowledge on D365 is added advantage.
• Familiarity with Copilots (M365), Co-pilot Studio, and Gen AI concepts.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs using .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Experience with Azure DevOps/ GitHub Enterprise for building CI/CD pipelines, Source control like Git.
• Knowledge of Azure services like App Service, Storage Account, Key Vault etc.
• Familiarity with Azure SQL Database.
• Understanding of Azure Active Directory and Azure security best practices.
