The opportunity
With the continuing and rapid development of tax technology solutions, particularly Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions, it is necessary to enhance our operational models to achieve success in the future. In preparation for the future, EY Tax and Law have created a new “Centre of Excellence” (CoE) to support SaaS solutions throughout their lifecycle.
The objectives of the SaaS CoE are twofold:
- Operational management of Tax and Law SaaS solutions and
- Sales enablement and support driving the market success of these solutions.
The SaaS CoE currently supports multiple Tax and Lax solutions including the Global VAT Reporting Tool (GVRT), Mandatory Disclosure Regime (MDR), Web Data Permissions Navigator (DPN) and Global Tax E-invoicing Solution (GTES), with this number of solutions is expected to grow rapidly.
In joining the SaaS CoE, you will have an exciting opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of this business unit, becoming deeply embedded in the operational management of the SaaS CoE and thus ensuring the smooth running of the technology solutions that it supports.
Your key responsibilities
EY is looking for an Operations Associate to support the operational activities related to GVRT and GTES.. As part of our Global SaaS business, you will work closely with the Operations Manager, Product Owner, Client Technology Team and broader product team to help ensure the smooth operation and deployment of GVRT and GTES globally.
The Operations Associate will assist in executing established processes and procedures, ensuring timelines are met and contributing to the successful operation and growth of the GVRT and GTESsolutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, take ownership of tasks, and proactively manage follow-ups without the need for prompting. They will be collaborative and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
You will work with cross-functional teams to support day-to-day operations and ensure alignment with overall product and business objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Support the Operations Manager, Go to Market Lead, and Product Owner in the execution of GVRT and GTES operational activities and day-to-day management tasks
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of GVRT and GTESoperational policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
• Coordinate with key stakeholders and local Member Firms to support engagement initiatives related to the e-invoicing project
• Assist in promoting the GTES solution across internal forums and communications
Support preparation of e-invoicing business case materials and documentation for local Member Firms
• Help ensure compliance with internal processes and controls, including Tax Quality, Independence, Infosec, Content Management, Data Privacy, and Tax Technology Approvals
• Assist in creating, maintaining, and updating product documentation and Roadmaps as required
• Track and compile product-specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as client numbers, pipeline, and revenue
• Support the tracking of deliverables to help ensure deadlines and objectives are met
• Prepare draft reports on operational performance and metrics for review by the Operations Manager
• Provide project coordination support for operational and business tasks within the GTES product team
• Collaborate with internal teams to support development of go-to-market materials and operational plans
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders to support smooth day-to-day operations
Skills and attributes for success

- Experience working with geographically distributed or culturally diverse teams is an advantage
To qualify for the role, you must have
- 1–3 years of experience in an operational, coordination, or support role
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with Power BI is a plus
- Basic understanding of operational processes; familiarity with EY Tax internal processes (e.g., Tax Technology Approvals Roadmap) is an advantage but not mandatory
Ideally, you’ll also have
· Prior experience in a professional services or consulting environment
· Exposure to internal processes or governance frameworks
