Generative AI – Application Developer - .NET

EY’s GDS Tax Technology team’s mission is to develop, implement and integrate technology solutions that better serve our clients and engagement teams. As a member of EY’s core Tax practice, you’ll develop deep technical expertise and strong application development skills focused on Generative AI–powered solutions.

EY’s GDS Tax Technology team works side-by-side with partners, clients, and tax technical subject matter experts to build scalable, secure, and reliable AI-enabled platforms that drive measurable business value.

GDS Tax Technology provides solution architecture, application development, testing, and maintenance support to the global Tax service line across multiple domains.

EY is currently seeking a Generative AI – Application Developer (.NET) to join our Tax Technology practice

The opportunity

We’re looking for Tax Seniors with 6–8 years of experience in .NET application development and Generative AI technologies to join the TTT team in Tax Service Line. The role requires a strong balance of hands-on development and technical oversight, contributing to the evolution of GenAI frameworks and domain-specific implementations within enterprise environments.

Your key responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight for the evolution of the Generative AI framework and domain-specific AI implementations.
• Ensure scalability, security, performance, and reliability of AI-powered solutions.
• Establish best practices for prompt engineering, LLM cost optimization, and caching strategies.
• Design, develop, and implement Generative AI–enabled applications, APIs, AI agents, and interfaces using the .NET ecosystem.
• Guide integration with enterprise GenAI platforms including Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, and GitHub Models.
• Estimate technical efforts and collaborate with stakeholders.

Skills and attributes for success

Must-Have:

• Strong experience in .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core, Blazor).
• Strong understanding of Generative AI and LLM technologies.
• Experience with AI agent frameworks and orchestration.
• Hands-on knowledge of ClosedXML, Roslyn, System.Text.Json.
• Strong Azure cloud experience.

Nice-to-Have:

• Vector databases and RAG exposure.
• Azure AI Search, M365 Copilot Studio.
• Azure AI certifications.

To qualify for the role:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience.
