Full Stack Development Manager

(Strong Backend Focus – Azure | React Front End Exposure)

Role Summary

A Full Stack Development Manager is responsible for owning end‑to‑end delivery of full‑stack solutions across front end, backend, and Azure cloud platforms. The role combines technical leadership, people management, and delivery accountability, ensuring scalable, secure, and high‑quality solutions that meet business objectives.

The Manager acts as a technical authority, mentors Senior Consultants and Consultants, partners with stakeholders, and ensures engineering excellence across multiple teams or workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Own solution architecture across React front end, .NET APIs, and Azure infrastructure.
• Provide architectural guidance for scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
• Review and approve designs for UI, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and integrations.
• Define and enforce engineering standards, design patterns, and best practices.
• Ensure proper use of Azure App Service, Azure Static Web Apps, Azure SQL, Azure AD, Key Vaults, and related cloud services.
• Guide teams on application observability using Azure Application Insights, monitors, dashboards, and alerts.

Delivery & Execution Ownership

• Own delivery commitments for one or more projects or product workstreams.
• Oversee sprint planning, estimations, timelines, and technical risk management.
• Ensure high code quality through structured reviews and governance.
• Drive production readiness, release management, and post‑production stability.
• Lead root‑cause analysis for critical incidents and ensure corrective actions.

People & Team Management

• Manage, mentor, and develop Senior Consultants and Consultants.
• Provide technical coaching and career development guidance.
• Drive skill uplift in React, .NET, Azure, CI/CD, and testing practices.
• Conduct performance reviews and support succession planning.
• Foster a strong engineering culture around ownership and accountability.

Stakeholder & Program Collaboration

• Partner with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical roadmaps.
• Communicate risks, trade‑offs, and technical decisions clearly to leadership.
• Align engineering priorities with business outcomes.

Problem‑Solving & Leadership Skills

• Ability to design and govern enterprise‑scale system architectures.
• Expertise in managing and resolving production‑critical incidents.
• Strong decision‑making in complex cloud, integration, and security scenarios.
• Proactive identification of delivery, performance, and scalability risks.
• Ability to balance speed, quality, and long‑term maintainability.

Technical Expertise

Front End (Oversight & Guidance)

• Strong understanding of React and TypeScript front‑end architectures.
• Experience guiding teams on:
  • Component‑level architecture
  • Performance optimization
  • State management patterns
  • Testing strategies (unit, integration, end‑to‑end)
• Familiarity with Vite, Jotai, React Testing Library.
• Exposure to MUI / MUI‑X component libraries is a plus.

Backend & APIs

• Deep expertise in C# / .NET Core API design and enterprise API patterns.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Dependency injection, middleware, async programming
  • API security, OAuth2, authentication & authorization
  • Integration with external systems
• Experience working in microservices‑based architectures.

Data & Storage

• Strong experience with SQL / Azure SQL (PostgreSQL exposure is a plus).
• Ability to guide teams on data modeling, performance, and reliability.

Azure Cloud & DevOps

• Strong proficiency with Azure App Service, Azure Static Web Apps.
• Hands‑on leadership experience with:
• Azure AD, Key Vaults
• Application Insights (KQL, dashboards, alerts)
• Monitoring, logging, and telemetry strategies
• Good understanding of Azure DevOps, Git‑based workflows, and YAML CI/CD pipelines.
