EY- Cyber Security (SRCR Resiliency) – Technology Consulting – Senior
As part of our EY Strategy, Risk, Compliance, and Resilience (SRCR) Technology Consulting team, you would work on various SRCR projects for our customers across the globe. An important part of your role will be to actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships. You’ll also identify potential business opportunities for EY and GDS within existing engagements and escalate these as appropriate. Similarly, you’ll anticipate and identify risks within engagements and share any issues with senior members of the team. In line with EY’s commitment to quality, you’ll confirm that work is of the highest quality as per EY’s quality standards and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer. As an influential member of the team, you’ll help to create a positive learning culture, coach, and counsel junior team members, and help them to develop.
The opportunity
As a “Senior Security Consultant” in the SRCR practice we expect you to have expertise in cyber / information security concepts, risk, controls, and resilience concepts. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of a new service offering.
Your key responsibilities
- Technical Knowledge - Engage in Cyber Strategy & Governance, Cyber Resilience, Business Continuity Management, Disaster Recovery, Crisis Management as a subject matter expert guiding our clients through transformation initiatives.
- Communication and Coordination Skills - Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress. Execute the engagement requirements, along with the review of work by junior team members. Help senior team members in performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff/junior level team members. Help prepare reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties.
- Client Relationship Management -Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel and build strong internal relationships within EY Consulting Services and with other services across the organization. Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures.
- Team Management and Mentoring – Contribute and participate in organization-wide people-related initiatives including recruiting. Maintain an educational program to continually develop the personal skills of staff and mentor project resources. Manage the performance management for the direct repartees as per the organization's policies, foster teamwork, and lead by example.
Skills and attributes for success
- Hands-on experience of more than 6 years with key components of cybersecurity including (but not limited to):
- Business and Technology Resilience Posture review
- Business Continuity Management System review, implementation, and operations based on ISO 22301
- Drafting the BC policies, procedures, risk assessment frameworks, and training content
- Risk Assessment
- Business & Technology Impact Assessment
- Business and Technology Resilience strategy planning
- Business Resilience documentation (Crisis Management, Business Services Recovery, and Resilience Playbooks, Technology Resiliency Playbooks, etc.)
- Business and Technology recovery and restoration exercise planning and execution management
- Third-Party/Supplier BCM assessment
- Crisis management program design, implementation, crisis communications framework development
- Cyber wargaming
- Cyber Asset Resilience
- Ransomware readiness assessment
- Regulatory compliance assessment
- Familiarity with leading Business Resilience Software
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree (BE - B. Tech / MCA / M. Tech/ MBA) with a background in computer science and programming.
- More than 6 Years of relevant experience with demonstrated expertise in focus areas described above.
- Strong Microsoft office skills.
- Should be proficient in leading small to medium engagements and coaching junior staff.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Project management skills – Should have strong presentation, articulation, and communication skills to be able to handle varying levels of audience and different situations which come up during our client engagements.
- Certifications – Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, ABCP, CBCP, ACRP, CCRP, ISO 22301 Lead Auditor/Lead Implementer, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Lead Implementer are a plus.
