EY Finance – PBFA Team: Enablement Services – Supervising Associate
As part of the PBFA team, you will be responsible for delivering impactful analysis and insights for the ES domain. This individual will be credible as a domain expert and will help to ensure the quality and delivery of Budgets, Rate Cards & Reporting to support the Enablement Services stakeholders.
The opportunity
We’re looking for Assistant Manager with expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of ES business
Your key responsibilities
- Budgets & Planning: Finalization of Annual financial planning including half yearly Forecast covering HC, costs and expenses and margins with due interaction with various location finance and service function leaders.
- Rate Cards / Pricing: Finalization of rate cards with due interaction and agreement with service function leaders
- Reporting: Reporting (including discussion with service function leaders) monthly financials and other reports highlighting key performance parameters. Provide Operational support / cost improvement studies to enable effective management and improving operations and increasing efficiency of resources / processes. Develop models / reports in excel / access
- Projected Financial: Preparing projected financial and over/under recovery as required from time to time.
- Adhoc Analysis / Reports: Ad-hoc decision support for various global initiatives / improvement projects
- Process Improvement and Standardization: Ability to define As Is Processes and lead in design of to-be processes and roles leveraging leading practices and enabling technologies, to ensure optimum and consistent performance
- Master data support: Provide support to the various Technical team on various cost center/ codes, rates, structures, hierarchy and planning tools
- Will be required to designing of reporting requirements for operational reports, service level requirements and process KPIs Provide definition and development.
- Coordinating / interacting with key stakeholders regarding financial performance and be an important point of contact for them.
Skills and attributes for success
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities and desire to learn.
- Succinct and structured oral and written communications skills with proven ability to explain complex concepts in a crisp, clear, concise and graphic-rich style, using appropriate analytics and visualization tools.
- Excellent Communicator as the role would require interactions with multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge of any ERP system preferably SAP
- Eye for details
- IT acumen, backed by proficiency in MS-Office, ability to handle complex data, and experience of modeling in MS-Excel or Access
- Must be a great team player having ability to work with a diverse global workforce
- Initiative, independence and Customer focus
To qualify for the role, you must have
- 5—10 years’ experience - Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, MBA Finance, Masters in commerce.
- Strong Knowledge in Accounting, finance, MIS etc.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to execute financial analysis skills, to synthesize information, review data inputs and provide analytic insights
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Project management skills
- Exposure to tools like PowerBI etc.
- Credible experience working in a fast-moving, client-driven environment
