Senior Manager – Commercial Pricing

Role Summary

The Senior Manager – Commercial Pricing will lead the development and growth of the pricing practice, driving revenue through strategic pricing solutions and market expansion. This role combines business development, solution innovation, and delivery excellence. You will advise senior executives on commercial models, lead complex transformation programs, and ensure measurable improvements in revenue and margin. Additionally, you will build and mentor a high-performing team aligned with business projections.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Market Leadership
    • Own the sales pipeline for pricing-related solutions and services; drive revenue growth through strategic pricing engagements.
    • Build and grow client relationships; lead proposals, RFP responses, and executive-level presentations. Accelerate deal closures and achieve revenue targets.
    • Develop and execute GTM strategies for pricing solutions and commercial models across the practice.
    • Design innovative pricing solutions aligned with client needs and industry trends.
    • Contribute to EY thought leadership through publications, webinars, and industry forums.
    • Keep abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes that may affect pricing strategies.

 

  • Client Engagement & Delivery
    • Lead pricing transformation programs and client engagements from strategy through implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
    • Design and implement advanced pricing frameworks, including value-based, subscription, dynamic, and outcome-driven models.
    • Develop innovative commercial investment structures that create mutual value for clients and their trade partners.
    • Deploy pricing analytics platforms and integrate with ERP/CRM systems to enable real-time insights and decision-making.
    • Conduct market and transactional-level analysis to identify pricing drivers and revenue optimization opportunities.
    • Build financial models to forecast pricing impact and support strategic recommendations.
    • Ensure delivery excellence across scope, timeline, and budget.
    • Implement pricing solutions that deliver sustainable growth and improve both top-line and bottom-line performance.

 

  • Technology & Innovation
    • Enable and mentor teams to apply AI/ML techniques for predictive pricing, elasticity modeling, and dynamic discounting.
    • Stay ahead of market trends and regulatory changes impacting pricing strategies.

 

  • Leadership & People Development
    • Manage multidisciplinary teams and ensure delivery excellence across scope, timeline, and budget.
    • Mentor and coach team members to build future pricing leaders within EY.

 

Qualifications

Required

  • 10–14 years of experience in pricing strategy, commercial transformation, or revenue management (consulting preferred).
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing pricing frameworks and analytics solutions.
  • Strong business development and client relationship management skills.
  • Hands-on experience with pricing software and ERP/CRM integration.

 

Preferred

  • Certifications in pricing strategy or revenue management.
  • Experience with AI/ML-based pricing optimization and advanced analytics.
  • Industry exposure in B2B, manufacturing, retail, or subscription businesses.
