Senior Manager - Procurement Transformation and Managed Services

Sourcing & Procurement | Transformation, Managed Services Set-up & Delivery

ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead procurement transformation and managed services engagements across sourcing, category management, supplier management, and procurement operations. The role will support organizations in designing future-state procurement operating models, establishing managed services capabilities, driving Source-to-Pay (S2P) transformation initiatives, and enhancing procurement service delivery. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of procurement consulting, operational transformation, managed services, and Global Capability Center (GCC) experience, while demonstrating the ability to lead large-scale transformation programs and senior stakeholder engagements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Procurement Transformation & Operating Model Design

• Lead end-to-end procurement transformation programs across sourcing, category management, supplier management, and procurement operations.
• Design future-state procurement operating models, governance structures, service delivery frameworks, and performance management processes.
• Develop transformation roadmaps aligned with business objectives, operational efficiency improvements, and cost optimization targets.
• Conduct procurement maturity assessments and identify opportunities for process enhancement and value creation.
• Drive procurement operating model redesign initiatives, including organizational structures, service delivery models, and governance frameworks.

Managed Services Set-up & Delivery

• Design and establish procurement managed services operating models and delivery frameworks.
• Lead transition planning, knowledge transfer, service migration, and stabilization activities for new engagements.
• Define service catalogues, SLAs, KPIs, governance mechanisms, escalation processes, and performance reporting structures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Support large-scale managed services programs spanning procurement operations, sourcing support, supplier management, and category management activities.

GCC Transformation & Service Delivery Excellence

• Lead Global Capability Center (GCC) transformation initiatives supporting procurement operations and service delivery organizations.
• Design GCC operating models, workforce structures, governance frameworks, and delivery management processes.
• Support transition planning, process standardization, capability development, and global delivery enablement activities.
• Develop scalable delivery capabilities and standardized processes across global procurement organizations.

Category Management & Procurement Excellence

• Lead category transformation initiatives across indirect and direct spend categories.
• Support strategic sourcing, category strategy development, supplier performance improvement, and procurement value delivery initiatives.
• Drive procurement best practices, process optimization, and sourcing excellence programs.
• Partner with stakeholders to align procurement strategy with enterprise objectives and business priorities.

Business Development & Practice Growth

• Support opportunity identification, solution development, proposals, business cases, and procurement transformation pursuits.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to develop and advance transformation opportunities.
• Contribute to thought leadership, market development initiatives, and capability-building activities.
• Develop reusable assets, accelerators, methodologies, and best-practice frameworks supporting practice growth.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead and mentor consulting teams across multiple engagements.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance development initiatives.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to internal capability-building programs.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• 10-15+ years of experience in procurement consulting, procurement transformation, managed services, or procurement operations leadership.
• Strong understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes, procurement operating models, governance frameworks, and service delivery management.
• Demonstrated experience leading procurement transformation and managed services engagements.
• Experience establishing or supporting Global Capability Center (GCC) operating models and procurement delivery organizations.
• Strong category management, sourcing excellence, supplier management, and procurement performance improvement experience.
• Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and lead complex transformation programs.
• Experience supporting business development, proposal development, and solution design activities.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
