EYGDS: Business Consulting – SC&O (Supply Chain & Operations) – Procurement Operations & Analytics Consultant (Managed Services)
As part of our EYGDS Procurement Operations team, you will support day-to-day procurement operations for global clients. As a consultant, you will perform procurement operations across PR-to-PO processing, RFx and sourcing support, supplier onboarding, vendor master coordination, contract administration, spend analytics and category / market intelligence. You will work closely with senior team members to ensure accuracy, compliance, timely service delivery and continuous process improvement.
The opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Consultant / Senior Consultant with 1–5 years of experience in procurement operations, shared services, sourcing support, supplier / vendor management, contracts, spend analytics, market intelligence or supply-chain roles. The ideal candidate should possess strong attention to detail, eagerness to learn procurement processes, familiarity with ERP / procurement tools, and the ability to support high-volume operational tasks in a global managed-services environment.
Your key responsibilities
Procurement Operations, RFx, Analytics, Supplier and Contract Support
- Execute PR-to-PO activities including requisition review, buying channel validation, PO creation, PO amendments, order tracking, PO closure and support for GR / SES or invoice block clarifications.
- Support RFx lifecycle activities including RFI / RFQ / RFP event creation, supplier communication, clarification tracking, bid comparison, scoring, benchmarking and sourcing award recommendation support.
- Perform spend analytics by extracting, categorizing and validating spend data, developing Excel / BI dashboards, identifying catalog spend, maverick buying, spend leakage and cost optimization opportunities.
- Conduct market, supplier and category intelligence including commodity trend tracking, supplier benchmarking, cost driver analysis and should-cost model support to enable category strategy and sourcing decisions.
- Support contract management by uploading contracts and amendments, maintaining metadata, version control, folder hygiene, expiry / renewal tracking, contract migration and PO-contract linkage.
- Coordinate supplier onboarding documentation including KYC, tax forms, bank details and certifications; support vendor master creation / updates, due-diligence checks, supplier performance monitoring and query resolution.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, standard workflows, buying channels, approval hierarchies, audit guidelines, data quality expectations, and SLA commitments.
Skills and attributes for success
- Foundational to detailed understanding of procurement operations including PR-to-PO, RFx, supplier data, contract basics, vendor management, spend analytics and market intelligence.
- Familiarity with ERP and procurement tools such as SAP, Ariba, Coupa, GEP, MS Dynamics or similar is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, documentation discipline and ability to work in an SLA-driven, high-volume delivery environment.
- Good communication skills and willingness to coordinate with global stakeholders, suppliers and cross-functional teams.
- Basic analytical skills with working knowledge of Excel, including VLOOKUP and PivotTables; Power BI / BI tool exposure is an advantage.
- Proactive, eager to learn and capable of working in a fast-paced procurement managed-services environment.
To qualify for the role, you should have
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Commerce, Engineering or related fields.
- 1–3 years of experience for Consultant / Staff roles and 3–5 years for Senior Consultant roles in procurement, supply chain, shared services, sourcing support, vendor management, contracts, analytics or operations roles.
- Basic to detailed understanding of procurement processes, ERP workflows, operational controls and global delivery processes.
- Ability to work in an SLA-driven environment with focus on accuracy, compliance and timely delivery.
- Transition or managed-services / BPO delivery experience is an add-on.
