EY-SAP EWM – Manager

The opportunity
We’re looking for Manager with expertise in SAP EWM Implementation to join the EYD GDS. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth.
Your key responsibilities
- Responsible for providing and executing Solutions throughout project lifecycle for a successful implementation of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) module (Presales, Design, Build, Testing, Deployment and Hyper care).
- Show high level expertise with Functional and business process while participating in Design and Gap Analysis in Client Engagements.
- Responsible for writing Functional specifications for end-to-end solutions.
- Configuration/Customization of SAP EWM for end-to-end solutions.
- Responsible for on time deliverables with Quality of work as priority.
- Writing Test scripts and performing system and integration testing and assisting in UAT.
- Preparing Decks and Presenting reports and conducting user trainings.
- Responsible for showcasing high level professionalism in Client engagements and keeping up with company’s brand reputation.
- Responsible for successful delivery of Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) module implementation.
- Actively participating in Internal meetings related to SAP EWM capability across organisation and continuously thriving for innovation.
- Lead and manage project teams effectively to ensure successful project execution.
- Provide comprehensive solutions to complex project challenges.
- Execute and facilitate client workshops to gather requirements and drive project alignment.
- Maintain an end-to-end understanding of both inbound and outbound processes.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure project objectives are met.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of quality management, labour management, and yard management practices.
Skills and attributes for success
- Experience in implementation of complex business process in SAP EWM.
- Knowledge of different business process related to different verticals like Automotive, Pharmacy, Retail, Life science, etc.
- Should have sound knowledge in some of SAP ERP modules such as SD/MM/WM.
- Knowledge of implementing project in Agile Delivery methodology or SAP Activate methodology.
- Good to have knowledge of advanced features of SAP EWM (Cartonization, Labour management, MFS, TM integration, Dock Appointment Scheduling, Shipping Cockpit).
- Good to have knowledge of integration with cross module SAP TM, PM, SD, MM, PP, ATTP, GTS
To qualify for the role, you must have
- College degree in related technology field (Computer, Engineering, Science, etc.) or comparable job experiences
- 7-8 years of relevant experience as Functional consultant in SAP EWM module. Able to exhibit a progression of increasingly complex job responsibilities during the period.
- Should have worked on at least 2 full life cycle implementations in SAP EWM.
- Extensive experience in analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation
- Proficiency with SAP S/4 HANA and EWM.
- Proficiency experience in interface development (RFC/ALE/IDoc/Web Services/DRF)
- Expertise in SAP Mobile Technologies Implementations using: SAP Console/ITS Mobile/RFID for Radio Frequency Framework Solution design
- Should have sound knowledge in some of SAP ERP modules such as SD/MM/WM/PP/PM/GTS and SAP Transportation management (TM).
- Should have strong exposure of SAP EWM Outbound, Inbound and Internal processes with VAS, Quality Inspections and EGR, Wave Management, Physical Inventory, Posting Changes.
- Experience in creation of Master Data i.e. Packaging Specifications, Warehouse Organizational Structure, Settings for Handling Units etc. Must have sound knowledge and experience in configuring/modifying Post Processing Framework in SAP EWM. Along with a strong expertise in setting up the system integration between SAP ERP with SAP EWM
- Experience of having worked in an onsite- offshore delivery model would be a plus
- Experience of having worked in a CMMI organization would be a plus
- SAP EWM certification a plus
- Knowledge of SAP ABAP and debugging a plus.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Good communication skills to coordinate, resolve queries of both external and internal customers
- Self-motivation and result oriented to complete task as per timelines
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge about SAP EWM latest version’s features.
