Senior Associate – GDS Ethics, Compliance and Risk Management (ECRM)

This role is part of the GDS ECRM Function and will he/ she will support the Personal Independence for EY GDS.

The opportunity:

• To support the Personal Independence Function to monitor internal systems and policy compliances.
• The job profile broadly entails helping the Global Delivery Services (GDS) ECRM to plan, implement and monitor systems and compliance processes in GDS and wherever required.
• This role requires the candidate to execute processes built in accordance with the EY Global (EYG) Independence policies aimed towards safeguarding EY as an Independent auditor. These processes are designed to safeguard EY's independence by performing testing procedures on EY professionals to ensure adherence to the firm's personal independence policies.
• The activities also involve in-depth analysis of data to generate MIS and Matrix based reports, function-wise within respective Business Units.

Your key responsibilities require you to

• Support GDS ECRM function across various Geographies on areas related with EY Policy / Compliance matters and its monitoring
• Develop a thorough understanding of the governing policies for EY GDS
• Testing completeness of employee personal and financial relationships in Independence Monitoring tool
• Learn technical aspects of various policy compliance requirements to help address employee queries 
• Gradually conduct applicable EYG policy guidelines awareness session for EY employees
• Assist in preparing MIS Dashboards
• Support in other Independence projects

• Automation experience will be an added advantage

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance or Law
• 2-3 years’ experience in Operations Functions, preferably corporate compliance areas
• Working knowledge and experience with excel and reporting
• Experience related to Auditing/related fields
• Understanding of compliance needs

• Ability to stretch in the busy period for high quality and on time delivery
