EY- Assurance – Manager– Experience Management
As part of our EY-Assurance Team, you will be working to ensure effective resource scheduling on scheduling tools, considering resource management guidelines, processes and protocols.
The opportunity
We’re looking for candidates who can lead the assigned location/geography experience management team. An EM Manager is expected to lead a team of 25-30 WFM professionals, providing strategic thought leadership, driving exceptional client service, liaise with senior management & GDS leadership on resource management decisions, lead deployment strategies and drive compliance to EM guidelines for the assigned portfolios. The EM manager is also responsible for leading the HC planning process and driving quality and innovation focused initiatives to achieve cost optimization and short/long term business targets.
Your key responsibilities
- Manage and lead annual budgeting/capacity and HC planning exercise and ensure that actual scheduling is consistent with the plan.
- Contribute to long term business strategy through creation of advanced capacity/headcount and financial business models.
- Participate and provide insights to business leaders on key service delivery matrices.
- Contribute to the success of the business through functional thought leadership and resource optimization initiatives.
- Monitor the health of the business, track key metrics, analyze trends and provide analytical support to the team and stakeholders.
- Lead complex projects related to planning and resource scheduling.
- Drive opportunities for process improvement/re-engineering.
- Develop a strong business continuity framework for the team.
- Lead people engagement and people development activities to create a positive work environment for the team.
Skills and attributes for success

- Strong stakeholder/client management experience is mandatory.
- Strong functional domain knowledge and data analytical skills.
- Program management skills and prior experience in leading scheduling/staffing projects will be preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Graduates with more than 11 years of post-qualification experience.
- Minimum 9 years of relevant work experience in resource planning, capacity planning, scheduling and forecasting is mandatory.
- Experience on resource management tools and scheduling techniques is mandatory.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in directly supervising teams will be mandatory.
- Experience in cross location/virtual team management is preferred.
- Experience in business transition, analytical and process re-engineering projects will be preferred.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Proficiency in using MS – Office
- Interest in business and commerciality.
