Senior Manager position – GDS Consulting DEX Lead

As a part of our global team you will be part of GDS projects as Quality management professional. You will be involved in working on challenging problems and creating next generation delivery excellence platforms.

 

The opportunity

This position is responsible for driving excellence in delivery of work we are performing for customers and measuring the same through variety of methods. This role will work with the project team as reviewer and enabler in helping them adopt project management methodologies, processes, procedures, reporting and quality control in their projects. This position will work closely with the leadership team in providing insights on the delivery excellence areas that need improvement. This role will be responsible for ensuring that the defined standards are implemented via rigorous review processes.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Develop an environment recognized for continuous improvement, innovation and best practices across service and delivery excellence.
  • Perform delivery reviews, evaluate and provide balanced score card for projects and portfolios
  • Establishment and maintenance of organizational delivery excellence strategy
  • Develop an environment recognized for continuous improvement, innovation and best practices across service and delivery excellence.
  • Enable project team to attain high customer satisfaction and quality management to ensure attainment of metrics and goals
  • Ensure compliance with delivery / service metrics through balance score card system
  • Foster open sharing of project health and project related knowledge management
  • Collaborate and cooperate with various internal teams to establish delivery excellence practices
  • Foster strong working and collaborative relationships within organization to bring best practices
  • Responsible and empowered to lead Software Process Improvement (SPI) activities
  • Evaluate industry quality best practices; Collaborate with quality team to identify and customize methodologies to meet unique organizational and business model needs;
  • Participate in enhancing internal systems and tools to support delivery excellence
  • Review projects to help them through risk management

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • College degree in related technology field (Computer, Engineering, Science, etc.)
  • Approximately 12 to 18 years of overall experience with minimum 5 years of delivery management experience
  • Knowledge of project management tools like JIRA, TFS, Azure DevOps
  • Experience in driving improvements using lean/ Six sigma techniques
  • Exposure & Knowledge on Quality Process & Improvement tools.
  • Should be able to handle Risk management and customer escalations.
  • Should be able to interact across different layers within the organization.


Additionally, good to have

  • Knowledge of DevOps and automation tools.
  • Knowledge on Managed services programs (ITIL V 4).
  • CISA, SOX, Internal Audits, risk transformation field.
  • Experience in defining processes for teams.


Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience in project audits and reviews.
  • Ability to drive process improvement initiatives.
  • Assessing the risks of the project by analysing the data / metrics.
