Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence

 

  • The Project Manager – People Consulting is responsible for leading end-to-end people and HR consulting engagements, managing client relationships, and ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple workstreams. The role requires strong consulting acumen, project leadership, and deep understanding of people, talent, and organization transformation initiatives. The Project Manager is expected to demonstrate advanced functional and delivery capabilities across people consulting domains: Proven expertise in People and HR Consulting, including: HR transformation and operating model design Organization design, workforce strategy, and job architecture Talent management (performance, learning, leadership, succession) Rewards and compensation strategy Change management and culture transformation Ability to lead complex, multi-workstream consulting engagements, including: Defining project scope, timelines, deliverables, and governance Managing risks, dependencies, and interdependencies Ensuring client-ready outputs aligned to consulting quality standards Strong capability in data-driven diagnostics, including: Workforce analytics, surveys, and qualitative/quantitative research Converting insights into pragmatic recommendations Expertise in executive-level storytelling and presentations Understanding of HR technology solutions and digital HR ecosystems (e.g., HRMS, talent platforms, analytics tools) Contribution to methodologies, frameworks, and consulting IP Qualification Requirements Bachelor’s degree required in: Business Administration / Management Human Resources Engineering or related disciplines Master’s degree preferred: MBA / PGDM in Human Resources Master’s in Organizational Psychology, Human Capital, or equivalent Professional certifications (preferred): SHRM-SCP / HRCI SPHR Prosci or other Change Management certifications PMP / PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification Six Sigma or Process Improvement certifications (Lean preferred) Experience Requirements and Skill Levels Needed Experience 6–10 years of relevant experience in: People Consulting / HR Advisory HR Transformation or Organization Development Management or Professional Services Consulting Minimum 2–4 years of experience managing: Client-facing consulting engagements Junior consultants and analysts Prior experience in global or large-scale transformation engagements preferred Core Skills Strong project and program management capability Advanced stakeholder management, including senior leadership (CXO / CHRO-level) Excellent analytical, structuring, and problem-solving skills High-quality written and verbal communications, including executive presentations Financial acumen to manage budgets, utilization, and margins Leadership & Behavioral Competencies Team leadership, coaching, and performance management Strategic thinking with execution focus Client-centric mindset with commercial awareness Ability to operate under ambiguity and manage competing priorities
