The opportunity : Project Director-NAT-PAS WKFA-CNS-PC-Talent - Bangalore
Your key responsibilities
Technical Excellence
Lead the design and engineering strategy for mixed-use developments (commercial real estate and industrial warehousing) projects from concept to completion.
Implement design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure scalability, efficiency, and sustainability.
Oversee the preparation of detailed architectural, mechanical, electrical, and structural designs while ensuring adherence to industry standards
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including project managers, consultants, contractors, and vendors, to ensure alignment on design goals and objectives.
Manage design reviews to ensure project viability.
Incorporate energy-efficient technologies and sustainable design principles into the development of project.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory codes, standards, and certifications, including green building certifications (e.g., LEED, IGBC).
Provide leadership and mentorship to a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, and technical specialists.
Evaluate emerging trends in mixed-use development design and engineering to maintain a competitive edge.
Successful completion of engineering milestones within time, budget, and quality parameters.
Development and implementation of innovative, energy-efficient design solutions.
Attainment of relevant certifications (e.g., Tier III/IV, LEED Gold/Platinum)
Leadership and team management to drive high performance.
Ensure strong communication and stakeholder management with problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities
Skills and attributes
To qualify for the role you must have
Qualification
20-25 years of experience in design and engineering, with at least 5 years in domain specific lead roles
Strong knowledge of RCC and structural steel buildings, pre-cast, electrical, mechanical, landscapes, building interiors, etc.
Proven track record of managing end-to-end design for large-scale mixed-use developments including commercial Real Estate and Industrial warehousing.
Additional Qualifications:
Certifications such as PMP, or equivalent will be preferrable
Familiarity with sustainability certifications like LEED or IGBC Green Building Certification.
Familiarity with industry codes and standards, including NBC, ASHRAE, NEC, and NFPA.
Experience
min 202-25 years of Construction industry exp.
