The Opportunity

 

We are looking for e-Learning professionals with at least five years of core industry experience to join the dynamic and growing Learning Services. The role requires proven knowledge of visual design and multimedia design production best practices, with relevant client servicing experience. The successful candidate will join an international pool of e-Learning experts and be responsible for the design and development of training requirements for a global clientele. They will be instrumental in the growth of the People Consulting practice at EY GDS.

 

We are looking for professionals with expertise in Visual/Media Design to join the EY GDS PC Learning Services team.

 

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Collaborate with business leaders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other key stakeholders to understand needs, review scripts, design visual storyboards, and create and edit designs
  • Work on concept design, creative visualization, and media development independently, from conception to delivery
  • Develop low‑ to high‑fidelity mock-ups, graphics, wireframes, illustrations, and animations while ensuring the highest quality levels
  • Create clear and engaging learning designs, layouts, infographics, data visuals, and interactive designs to turn complex information into easy-to-understand format
  • Emphasize teamwork and collaboration with other departments to ensure a cohesive and effective design strategy
  • Maintain graphic standards, guidelines, and checklists for the project
  • Create high-end cutting-edge designs for complex projects/proof of concepts showcases
  • Think design from an accessibility and UI/UX perspective
  • Ensure high quality deliverables are produced for the project by exhaustive internal reviews and obtain excellent feedback from the client and global project counterparts 
  • Ensure that the final product aligns with the needs of the client and is delivered on time
  • Adopt a result-oriented approach with a flair for solving problems in a diverse, multi-cultural environment
  • Create a range of multimedia elements (videos, simulations, role-plays, games, etc.
  • Build strong relationships with project stakeholders, including team members
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of design interventions in learning solutions and make recommendations for enhancements
  • Build competency, mentor and coach aligned media team members, and drive reusability and other initiatives for self and team members
  • Contribute to pursuits to develop training-related proposals and presentations for potential clients

 

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree with at least five years of experience in the creative field of digital learning and developing learning programs for adults and corporate audience
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your best design capabilities and thought process
  • Strong creative, visual and interaction design skills (UI/UX, composition, colour theory, typography)
  • Expertise in interaction design for nonlinear and branching for Level 3/high-complexity digital learning solutions
  • Hands‑on experience producing low‑ to high‑fidelity prototypes for digital learning solutions
  • Highly skilled in Articulate Storyline (triggers, variables, custom players, navigation, and UI elements)
  • Ability to design theme-based game user interfaces (menus, scoreboards, avatars, badges, maps)
  • Motion graphics or video development skills (Synthesia, Adobe After Effects, Vyond, and etc.)
  • Practical knowledge of mood boarding, visual storyboarding, visual design principles, and branding guidelines
  • Extensive experience of working with MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel
  • Experience in developing a wide range of digital learning deliverables: Web-based learning, Gamification, Videos, Interactive PDFs, Webcasts, Podcasts, and nano-learnings
  • Expertise in rapid authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Captivate, GOMO
  • Expertise in multimedia design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Express, XD, Synthesia, Vyond, Firefly, Camtasia, VideoScribe, and Audition
  • Have knowledge of Gen-AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Midjourney, etc.
  • Experience of developing a wide range of digital learning deliverables: Web-based learning, UI/interaction design, Videos, Animations, Interactive PDFs, Webcasts, Podcasts, nano-learnings
  • Ability to articulate design decisions, feedback, and provide creative direction 
  • Experience of working in teams and collaborating with instructional designers to independently take deliverables to quality closure
  • Ability to review learning deliverables developed by others for quality assurance
  • Experience of contributing to learning estimations and proposals 
  • Experience of developing trainings for leading learning experience platforms
  • Fair knowledge of e-learning best practices, SCORM/AICC standards, a good understanding of learning design and development, and various rapid authoring tools

Ideally, You’ll Also Have 

 

  • A strong background in creative and media design in the digital learning industry
  • Experience working in technology and/or consulting organizations 
  • Project management experience to take digital learning from concept to delivery
  • Familiarity with website design, creative communications, video technology, and editing 
  • Knowledge of at least one Learning Management System
