The opportunity
We are looking for Senior with expertise in Transaction-Due Diligence to join the Rewards and transaction team. This position involves supporting the due diligence process by collecting and analyzing HR-related data to identify risks and opportunities that could impact the transaction. This role requires a solid understanding of HR functions, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a cross-functional team. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the due diligence process for acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures and divestitures.
- Enable clients to assess buy-side or sell-side human capital issues and help determine preliminary integration/divestiture or stand alone plan and timeline.
- Collect and analyze data on the target company's HR policies, practices, workforce demographics, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.
- Assist in analyzing the current scenario and underlying assumptions by reviewing employment agreements, change-in-control agreements, organizational structure, compensation and annual incentives, culture and EVP, etc.
- Identify potential HR-related risks, liabilities, and integration challenges.
- Evaluate HR functional operating model, needs for Day 1 and beyond.
- Analyse incremental estimates to cost model (i.e. run rate and one-time costs) for both buy-side & sell-side
- Support the development of HR due diligence reports, summarizing findings and providing recommendations.
- Collaborate with the HR Due Diligence Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive due diligence coverage.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the HR due diligence process and methodologies.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information throughout the due diligence process.
- Deliver high-quality work on global client projects as part of the global distribution team.
- Ensure the quality, timeliness, and accuracy of all work outputs.
Skills and Attributes for Success:
- Systematic understanding of all HR functions.
- Experience with the full life cycle of an acquisition.
- Developed knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment as it relates to employee rewards and reporting related to broad-based compensation and benefits.
- Ability to provide timely and effective reporting of findings and post-deal concerns.
- Capability to identify possible approaches post-merger or acquisition.
- Proficiency in managing multiple aspects of the due diligence process, ensuring timely and coordinated efforts across various HR domains.
- Solid financial and business acumen.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor's degree or Masters in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field with an additional 3 to 5 years of experience in HR Due Diligence
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to advise and influence clients
- Good understanding of HR M&A, Post Merger Integration, HR Due Diligence
- Proficient in Excel, power point, power Bi dashboards etc
- Strong communication and analytical skills with ability to comprehend and drive insightful reports
- Detail-oriented with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
