Position: Global Immigration - Analyst

As part of our People Advisory Services - Global Immigration team, you will help our clients manage business issues relating to their global workforce by providing immigration services to their international assignees and foreign local hires.  Our business empowers individuals working within a smart, motivated, and diverse peer group. Purpose

Your role helps our clients manage the complex challenges of deploying a globally mobile workforce. You’ll also help our clients improve their business in the evolving global economy and realize sustainable economic growth by helping them to integrate the people agenda into their business strategy.

 

Role and Responsibilities

GDS GI professionals support EY Global Immigration teams across various countries and clients to execute on a raft of administrative and support tasks. 

You will support a raft of administration tasks to including electronic case management, document processing and uploads, database management, data entry, mailbox management, and drafting of email communications and visa application forms for review.  

You will support collection and tracking of case documentation, reporting, and monitoring of status and preparation of application documentation per the protocol followed for each case type.

 

Tasks include:

  • Docket immigration related documents to the case management tool
  • Perform daily tasks including data entry with accuracy
  • Receive and validate documents submitted by assignees in both English and German Language
  • Prepare and draft email communications and/or visa application documents in both English and German Language
  • Assist in document review for various case types
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects, including research, project management and data collection activities as required
  • Ensure on time delivery on all client deliverables

 

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Deliver on accuracy, attention to detail and timeliness in tasks
  • Deliver on efficient and effective use of technology tools and solutions
  • Identify, and escalate technical or process issues
  • Strictly adhere to EY’s risk management protocols and manage confidential information with professionalism
  • Own accountability for performance and quality metrics; SLA/KPI reports, client reporting, escalations, utilisation, and performance metrics
  • Deliver on tasks with quality, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment
  • Build and maintain a strong working knowledge of immigration requirements, technicalities, and process relevant to the team you work with
  • Identify opportunities to improve quality, business performance and process efficiency
  • Work flexibly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Attend continuous training and development on requirements


Role Requirements

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource, Business Administration, travel, tourism and hospitality, Commerce, Arts, Law (Immigration), English Language and Literature/Communicative English/Mass Communication & Journalism or related fields.
  • MBA/Masters in relevant field an advantage.
  • B2 Level of German Language proficiency. Require Exceptional communication skills – both verbal and written in German

 

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Ability to draft articulate and persuasive communications in English & German Language
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize task appropriately
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with large teams
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (especially word and excel)
  • Efficient and accurate typing speed
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with high volume and tight deadlines
  • Ability to contribute to an efficient, innovative, and team-oriented work environment 
  • Foreign language skill considered an advantage
  • Proven administrative and organizational skills
