Position-PAS Product Owner
Education-Any Bachelors/Master’s degree in engineering or computer science. Agile certification such as PSPO, PSM, SAFe Product Owner, SAFe, Visual Studio, Agilist, Agile BA, Scrum Master experience is strongly desirable
Experience-8+ years strong work experience with 3-5 years as a Product owner within a Software Technology/consulting firm. Preferred mobility Managed Services, Integrated mobility technology, mobility service provider or vendors.

The opportunity
We are looking for Manager with expertise in building digital solutions who is keen to work in a fast-paced business, adding value by pragmatically applying their unique skills to help us deliver our strategy in an ever-changing environment.
As a Product Owner you will play a pivotal role in the development and success of a digital product solution. Your primary responsibility will be to act as the bridge between the business stakeholders and your development team. You will be entrusted with understanding customer requirements, and overall business goals. You will work closely with stakeholders to define a clear Product Objective and be responsible for creating and maintaining a prioritised product backlog, detailing the features, functionalities, and user stories. You will collaborate with the development team, providing clear and concise guidance on the product requirements, ensuring that the team understands and delivers the desired outcomes. Throughout the development process, you will continuously refine and adjust the product backlog, responding to changing market dynamics, customer feedback, and business priorities. Additionally, you will be actively involved in sprint planning, sprint reviews, and other Agile ceremonies, ensuring effective communication and alignment between all stakeholders. Ultimately, you will bear the responsibility of maximising the value of the product by delivering a solution that meets customer needs, aligns with business objectives, and drives overall success
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders, including business owners, customers, development teams, to define product roadmaps, detailed functional requirements and realization plans.
- Translate business requirements and user needs into clear and concise Features with clear acceptance criteria.
- Prioritise and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the most valuable User Stories are delivered first and that the backlog is properly groomed and refined on a regular basis.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure a clear understanding of the product vision and requirements, provide guidance, and make informed decisions during the development process.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate product performance, gather user feedback, and use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and make informed product decisions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and program team, to ensure successful product launch and adoption.
- Act as a liaison between senior stakeholders and the development team, facilitating communication and ensuring that expectations are properly managed.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives, to drive the iterative development process and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Maintain and manage non-functional requirements for the product.
- Monitor and prioritize Change Request, Bugs, Issues, Defects and various aspects related to Product Standardization.
- Enable activation, training and change management functions for existing/new stakeholders.
- Seek compliance, QRM, CAB approvals, branding and various other approvals needed for successful market launch and Go-to-Market activities needed for a successful launch/release.
- Support in Budget calculations and assess funding needs for the team.
- Identify resource requirement for tech and business teams.
Skills requirements
- Knowledge of prioritising and making value creating decisions based on understanding business objectives and market conditions.
- Ability to lead a Product team from ideation to development to launch.
- Demonstrable experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum Framework preferred) - continuously reviewing the business needs, refining requirements, outlining milestones and deliverables, identifying, and managing risks throughout the Sprints.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks including the development of relationships with Industry leaders, senior stakeholders, and team members across all EY practices to serve client needs.
- Experience in continuously refining and prioritising Product backlogs containing business value requirements and customer needs/pain-points.
- Experience operating in a fast paced, multi-vendor environment.
- Excellent understanding of the Scrum Framework.
- Ability to facilitate ideation, discovery and/or requirement gathering workshops
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating a medium-large cross functional Scrum team to develop a technical solution.
- Demonstrated experience participating in Sprint ceremonies as necessary.
- Demonstrate high integrity and commitment to working in a new, challenging environment.
