Job Title: Senior - Next Gen Transformation Office - NGTO

The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced senior join our dynamic Next Gen Transformation Office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in consulting and a deep understanding of various sourcing approaches and methodologies, including insourcing, outsourcing, and Global Business Services (GBS). With a strong grasp of IT elements such as Infrastructure Services, and Application Services, the Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the sourcing strategies and driving transformation initiatives within the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support strategy development & execution: Apply playbooks to develop sourcing options, build business cases, and translate strategy into clear workplans and deliverables.
  • Lead workstream-level vendor evaluations: Coordinate RFx cycles, manage scoring frameworks, run reference checks, and synthesize evaluation summaries for decision forums.
  • Contribute to negotiations: Prepare negotiation analyses (TCO models, benchmarks, BATNA), draft term sheets, and align cross-functional inputs (Legal/Finance/Risk) for manager-led negotiations.
  • Own market & rate analysis: Conduct structured market scans, benchmark rate cards, identify cost optimization opportunities, and present actionable insights.
  • Manage vendor lifecycle artifacts: Drive onboarding checklists, maintain SLA/OLA trackers, gather performance inputs, and run quarterly business review (QBR) packs.
  • Monitor spend & value leakage: Use analytics tools to reconcile invoices vs PO/contract terms, flag exceptions, and recommend controls to prevent financial loss.
  • Stakeholder coordination & governance: Run cadence (steerco/workstream meetings), draft agendas and minutes, track actions/RAID items, and ensure timely escalations.
  • Process improvement & innovation: Identify gaps, propose SOP/template updates, pilot improvements (e.g., automated reporting), and document lessons learned in the knowledge base.
  • TMO/Transition support: Execute readiness assessments, maintain RAID logs, support cutover planning, and drive risk management routines during transition/transformation.
  • Skills and Attributes for Success:
  • Communication: Clear, structured communication in English (written & verbal); confident stakeholder engagement and executive-ready summaries.
  • Analytics: Strong quantitative skills; proficiency in MS Excel, SQL (for querying/joins), and Power BI (building/reporting dashboards).
  • Tools: Familiarity with SAP Fieldglass, Ariba, Sirion Labs (or equivalent CLM/VMS/Procurement suites).
  • Ways of working: Understanding of standard project methodologies (Agile/Hybrid/Waterfall) and Design Thinking principles.
  • Ownership: Ability to work independently, handle multiple vendors/projects concurrently, and meet deadlines with high quality.
  • Mindset: Strategic, structured, and pragmatic; curious, detail‑oriented, and focused on continuous improvement.

 

Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate degree, MBA preferred, with 6-10 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • 4-8 years of consulting experience, with a focus on vendor management, procurement, or a related domain.
  • Desirable certifications include Project Management (PRINCE II, PMP, Agile), Six Sigma, ITIL, Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI, Change Management, Design Thinking, and Facilitation.
