Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.
Our journey started in 2002 with approximately 200 people. Today we stand at 80,000+ professionals in ten locations around the world. We operate in Argentina, China, Hungary, India, Philippines, Poland, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom.
Client service is focused on providing Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. The teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless, high-quality, value-added support, helping deliver exceptional client service.
Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.
Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Functional Architect – D365 F&SCM to lead enterprise-wide ERP transformation programs and define functional solution strategy across Finance and Supply Chain domains. This role focuses on driving business process transformation, ensuring alignment with best practices, and delivering scalable, high-quality solutions for global clients.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead functional solution architecture across Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing domains in D365 F&SCM.
- Drive business process transformation initiatives, aligning client requirements with standard ERP capabilities and industry best practices.
- Lead end-to-end functional design and implementation across large-scale ERP programs, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into scalable functional solutions.
- Provide expert guidance during solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment phases.
- Drive collaboration across functional, technical, and testing teams to ensure successful program delivery.
- Govern solution design, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Lead risk identification, mitigation planning, and functional quality assurance across programs.
- Manage financial aspects including budgeting, resource planning, and delivery governance.
- Responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.
- Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.
Skills and attributes for success
- Strong expertise in Dynamics 365 F&SCM and AX 2012 with deep functional knowledge across R2R, P2P, O2C, E2I, and H2R processes.
- Ability to define functional architecture strategy and lead large-scale ERP transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.
- Experience in solution design, configuration, and implementation of D365 F&SCM.
- Strong knowledge of integrations, data migration, and ERP ecosystem alignment.
- Understanding of compliance, regulatory requirements, and data governance practices.
- Experience working in global programs with distributed teams and multiple workstreams.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills.
- Proven leadership in building and mentoring high-performing functional teams.
Ideally, you’ll also
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
- Experience with Azure services and integration capabilities
- Strong exposure to data migration, data validation, and integration frameworks
- Experience with Agile delivery models, DevOps, and LCS
- Functional certifications in Dynamics 365 F&SCM
What we look for
- Total Experience & Relevant Experience: 8+ Years
- Strong experience leading large-scale D365 F&SCM functional transformations
- Experience with Microsoft SureStep, Agile, or hybrid implementation methodologies.
- Proficiency in working with globally distributed teams and stakeholders.
- Microsoft certifications are preferred.
