The opportunity
The Security Metrics and Reporting Team Manager will be responsible for delivering and supporting a framework of information security reports and dashboards, in partnership with other departments and Information Security teams.
You will lead initiatives to implement from inception through to production new security metrics and enhance existing ones, and will be responsible for creating and maintaining online reports and dashboards that present information across the full spectrum of Information Security domains.
The ideal candidate is strategically focused and has an ability to see solutions in large data sets, and the mindset to convert insights into visuals that enable leaders to make more informed decisions. The Metrics and Reporting Team Lead will work closely with leaders and managers across the Information Security business unit to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions. They will apply data analysis and visualization by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures for team members to follow. The dashboards produced will be used to interpret key observations and risks from company data that will be leveraged to develop initiatives that will support business outcomes.
The role is accountable to build and manage relationships with stakeholders and implement and improve upon the team’s processes and procedures.
Your key responsibilities

Work with internal customers and other team members to understand and define reporting requirements that meet the expectations of the target audiences

Manage and enhance the Enterprise Security Program Metrics and Reporting Strategy and roadmap

Oversee the design, automation, and delivery of reports on key functions, operations, and risk and performance metrics

Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting team members with comprehensive policies and processes

Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, and visualization, leveraging automation to achieve efficiencies and scalability

Use Power BI to contextualize information in a manner suitable to executive level audiences

Lead cross-functional initiatives to develop and maintain automated reporting systems and dashboards that provide insights that guide strategic decisions and uncover opportunities

Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective management of analyst employees and effective collaboration with stakeholders

Cultivate an understanding of security concepts to assist in identifying ongoing information, measurement, and reporting needs

Recruit, train, develop, and supervise analyst-level team members

Experience working with and creating databases and dashboards using all relevant data to inform decisions

Strong problem solving, visual, and analytical abilities

Fluent in English

Advanced MS Office skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, etc.
To qualify for the role you must have

Experience leading a team and managing stakeholder expectations

Experience in data visualization and data modeling

Proficient and experienced with some of the following tools:

Power BI

SQL

Excel

Other analytics and visualization tools

Ideally, you’ll also have

Experience in a position monitoring, managing, and drawing insights from data.
