Job Title: Manager, Wellbeing Office

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Manager to join our Wellbeing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing key elements of our employee wellbeing program across GDS. You will play a critical role in promoting a culture of health, resilience, and inclusion by delivering initiatives that support the physical, mental, social, and financial wellbeing of our diverse workforce.

 

As a Wellbeing Manager, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic wellbeing initiatives aligned with business goals and employee needs. You will manage program logistics, communications, measurement, and reporting while ensuring high levels of engagement and participation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execution of Wellbeing Strategy:
    • Support the implementation of GDS overall wellbeing strategy by translating strategic goals into actionable and measurable programs. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and employee needs.
  • Project and Program Management:
    • Lead/Support the planning, execution, and evaluation of wellbeing programs and initiatives across the organisation. Maintain a structured project management approach including timelines, resources, budgets, and performance metrics. Ensure timely delivery of initiatives such as mental health campaigns, wellness challenges, ergonomic assessments, and employee support programs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Work closely with internal departments including STCs, Learning & Development, Facilities, Communications, and Employee Resource Groups to promote participation and ownership of wellbeing efforts. Foster relationships with external partners, vendors, and consultants to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Data and Insights:
    • Collect, analyse, and report on wellbeing metrics such as program participation, employee feedback, and health-related KPIs. Use insights to assess impact, identify gaps, and recommend enhancements to the wellbeing strategy. Support the development of dashboards and reports for leadership reviews.
  • Awareness and Communication:
    • Develop and deliver communications that raise awareness of wellbeing initiatives, promote engagement, and reflect organisational values. Create toolkits, resources, and content that empower employees to take ownership of their wellbeing.
  • Best Practice:
    • Stay up to date on emerging trends and innovations in workplace wellbeing and bring in best practices that are scalable and relevant to the organisation.
  • Support During Critical Events:
    • Be a key resource during organisational change, crises, or high-stress periods by offering appropriate wellbeing support and coordinating necessary interventions (e.g., counselling, critical incident response).

 

Qualifications:

  • Preferred - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Public Health, Psychology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in employee wellbeing, HR, or program management roles.
  • Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Passion for employee wellness and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
