Manager – HRE strategy, Critical projects, Budgets & analytics management
We are looking for high-calibre well-rounded professional with a focus on key program management, business case creation, budget management, and data reporting. This is an important role requiring both technical knowledge and business awareness, providing challenging opportunities for motivated individuals to contribute to the strategic direction of achieving our EY NextWave vision and strategy.

The opportunity
This role acts as a strategic partner to the Talent-HRE leader. The individual will drive execution of the HRE agenda by connecting strategy to delivery, orchestrating cross-functional initiatives, and ensuring alignment across COEs, operations and leadership teams. The role combines project management, stakeholder management, analytics, and process enablement to drive impactful, data-led decisions and outcomes.
Your key responsibilities
- Talent Strategy & Leadership Enablement
- Partner closely with HRE leadership to operationalise strategic priorities across the function
- Drive alignment across Talent COEs by translating leadership vision into structured execution plans.
- Support leadership reviews, reporting requests, initiatives across industry benchmarks, submissions for corporate accolades, monthly/quarterly/annual requests from Talent leadership around key insights, program progress.
- Manage governance cadence and strategic communications to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Facilitate decision-making by synthesising inputs, structuring discussions and presenting clear recommendations.
- Project & Program Management, Delivery excellence
- Lead and manage complex, cross-functional Talent projects from initiation through execution and closure.
- Develop project plans, track milestones, manage dependencies and ensure timely delivery across multiple workstreams.
- Identify risks, manage escalations and drive resolution in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Enable execution of global initiatives across geographies, ensuring consistency, scalability and impact.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment while ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive integrated solutions and sustained impact.
- Contribute to building a culture of accountability, ownership and continuous improvement.
- Budget management, Data Analytics & Insights
- Analyses and clearly presents data and other information to identify significant trends or key issues, provides recommendations and makes presentations on trends, forecasts, supplies, predicts future potentials.
- Understands the process of data integration: including workforce data from central systems such as People Insights and other HR applications such as Taleo, and/or in our Talent development platforms.
- Awareness of data privacy and legal issues
- Ability to work with any kind of data source or data sets to produce analysis in Business Intelligence tools
- Work closely with data, reporting and analytics team members including articulating client demands
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable narratives for leadership consumption.

- Strong client facing skills and the ability to communicate analytical and technical concepts with confidence and in an easy-to-understand fashion.
- Should have good HR domain experience, processes and familiar with HR systems such as Peoplesoft, Success Factors.
- Strong experience in advanced analytics
- Experience in statistical modelling
- Good managerial skills
- Hands on experience to perform and produce analytics using Data Lake/ Data Mart architecture
- Should have experience in - Advanced Power BI must (with knowledge on DAX expressions), Tableau, Qlikview, Power Apps and MS- PowerPoint for leadership presentation

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree or equivalent experience in MIS, Statistics, Decision Science or similar field
- 10 - 12 years of reporting and dashboard experience Strong HR functional background
- Have proven extensive relevant experience in understanding People data analysis and reporting.
- Extensive knowledge on business case creation, budget management, KPI metrics, Headcount, Hire, Attrition, Performance analysis is mandate
- Knowledge on Microsoft Azure DevOps Kanban board and Success factors HR system is an advantage
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Understanding and experience of working under Agile methodology
- Familiar with roles and responsibilities of Scrum meeting
