  • Job Description – Manager, Talent Acquisition (Tax) Job Title - Manager – Talent Acquisition (Tax) Department - Talent Acquisition Role Purpose: The Manager – Talent Acquisition (Tax) is responsible for developing and executing the talent acquisition strategy for the Tax practice, ensuring the hiring of high-calibre professionals across all levels. This role partners closely with Tax leadership to anticipate workforce needs, build sustainable talent pipelines, and deliver exceptional hiring outcomes while ensuring an outstanding candidate and stakeholder experience. The role requires deep understanding of the Tax talent landscape, proactive market mapping, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to attract niche talent across multiple Tax service lines. Key Responsibilities Strategic Talent Acquisition ? Lead end-to-end recruitment for the Tax practice across levels. ? Develop and execute hiring strategies aligned with business growth plans and workforce forecasting. ? Build proactive talent pipelines for critical and niche Tax roles through market mapping and talent engagement. ? Identify innovative sourcing strategies to attract passive and high-quality talent. Business Partnering ? Act as a trusted talent advisor to Tax Partners, Business Unit Leaders, and HR Business Partners. ? Participate in workforce planning discussions and provide hiring recommendations based on market trends and business priorities. ? Provide regular updates on hiring progress, talent availability, compensation benchmarks, and competitive intelligence. Tax Practice Hiring - Manage hiring across key Tax service lines, including: ? Direct Tax ? Indirect Tax (GST) ? International Tax ? Transfer Pricing ? Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Tax ? Global Mobility Services (GMS) ? Tax Technology & Transformation ? Tax Litigation & Regulatory ? Corporate Tax Compliance, etc. Candidate Experience ? Ensure a seamless, high-quality candidate journey from sourcing through onboarding. ? Conduct competency-based interviews and partner with business leaders to assess technical and behavioural fit. ? Drive offer management, negotiations, and pre-joining engagement to maximize offer acceptance and joining ratios. Recruitment Operations & Governance ? Ensure adherence to recruitment SLAs, compliance standards, and hiring governance. ? Utilize ATS and recruitment technologies to maintain accurate hiring data and reporting. ? Drive process improvements to enhance recruitment efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction. Talent Intelligence ? Monitor hiring trends, competitor activity, salary benchmarks, and talent availability within the Tax market. ? Present actionable hiring insights and dashboards to leadership. ? Recommend data-driven interventions to improve hiring effectiveness. Employer Branding & Diversity ? Partner with employer branding teams to strengthen the firm’s positioning within the Tax talent market. ? Support diversity, equity, and inclusion hiring initiatives. ? Build relationships with professional associations, industry forums, and educational institutions. Team Leadership ? Coach and mentor Talent Acquisition team members. ? Drive capability building, performance management, and knowledge sharing. ? Foster a collaborative, high-performance recruitment culture. Experience ? Demonstrated success in hiring niche Tax professionals across multiple levels. ? Experience partnering with senior leaders and managing complex hiring mandates. ? Skills and attributes

To qualify for the role you must have
Qualification

  • Qualifications ? Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. ? MBA/Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources preferred.

Experience

  • ? 8–12 years of Talent Acquisition experience, with at least 5 years supporting Tax, Consulting, Legal, or Professional Services hiring.
