Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence

• Job Description Data Scientist (8–10 Years Experience) Location Bangalore (Hybrid / Onsite as required) Experience 8–10 years of experience in Data Science / Applied Machine Learning Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with strong expertise in AI/ML, Python, and Generative AI, and hands on experience working with high dimensional data. The role involves building and deploying machine learning and LLM based solutions that solve complex business problems and deliver measurable impact. The candidate should be comfortable working across the entire data science lifecycle—from exploratory analysis and feature engineering to model development, evaluation, and production deployment—preferably in Azure based environments. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Data Science & Machine Learning
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) on structured and unstructured datasets
• Design and implement feature engineering strategies for high dimensional data
• Build and evaluate machine learning models, including: o Regression, classification, clustering o Ensemble models o Time series forecasting (where applicable)
• Apply dimensionality reduction techniques such as PCA, t SNE, autoencoders, etc.
• Evaluate models using appropriate metrics and perform error analysis and model tuning Generative AI & LLMs
• Design and develop LLM based solutions for use cases such as: o Document summarization o Q&A and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) o Knowledge extraction from PDFs, SOPs, manuals, and reports
• Work with embeddings, vector databases, and prompt engineering techniques
• Collaborate with backend and data engineering teams to integrate LLM solutions into production systems Cloud & MLOps
• Develop and deploy models using Microsoft Azure services
• Support end to end ML pipelines, including: o Data preprocessing o Model training and validation o Model versioning and deployment
• Monitor model performance and data drift in production
• Follow best practices for reproducibility, scalability, and governance Business & Stakeholder Collaboration
• Translate business problems into data science formulations
• Communicate insights, model behavior, and results to technical and non technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with data engineers, backend developers, and frontend teams to deliver end to end solutions ________________________________________ Required Skills & Qualifications Mandatory
• 8–10 years of hands on experience in Data Science / AI / ML
• Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, scikit learn)
• Experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow / PyTorch)
• Proven experience working with high dimensional datasets
• Hands on exposure to LLMs / Generative AI
• Experience deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure
• Strong understanding of statistics, probability, and linear algebra Good to Have
• Experience with NLP, transformers, BERT based models
• Experience with RAG architectures and vector databases
• Familiarity with MLOps tools (MLflow, CI/CD for ML)
• Exposure to SQL and working with relational databases
• Basic understanding of frontend/backend integration (e.g., APIs, Java/Bootstrap awareness) ________________________________________ Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field PhD is a plus but not mandatory
