We help our clients in identifying and managing the interplay between upside and downside risk in order to make the long-term decisions to prevent risk and impact on their organization's ability to meet its future business strategy and objectives. The 3 key fields of play are :

Enterprise Risk - helps clients identify and address key risk areas, while building the agility to respond quickly. The areas of focus include Enterprise risk and resilience, Internal audit, Compliance and Internal controls

Technology Risk - helps clients to achieve sustainable growth by supporting their efforts to protect their business performance and by providing trusted communications on internal control and regulatory compliance to investors, management, regulators, customers and other stakeholders. EY teams accomplish this by assessing the technology risks that are introduced to businesses.

Financial Services Risk - helps clients in the financial sector to identify, manage and monitor the risks in their business. It is done through a transformative and agile approach including process and procedures, risk, data modeling and analytics, reporting to stakeholders and third parties, business requirements (for software selection and IT implementation), analysis of assets and liabilities, and capital and liquidity management.

Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence

• Lead the strategy, governance, and execution of Risk & Compliance initiatives. This leadership role is responsible for establishing and enhancing regional compliance frameworks, risk management practices, governance structures, and control environments to ensure adherence to corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. The role will partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to strengthen digital and regulatory compliance, improve control effectiveness, and enable risk-informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities
• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks, methodologies, policies, and operating models.
• Drive the regional Risk & Compliance strategy, roadmap, and governance agenda, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, audit expectations, and corporate policies.
• Oversee IT risk assessments, control testing programs, compliance monitoring, audit readiness initiatives, and remediation activities to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical business systems.
• Establish and mature a regional Risk & Compliance CoE, providing standardized methodologies, governance practices, quality assurance, guidance, and knowledge sharing.
• Lead risk-based compliance programs covering IT General Controls (ITGC), SAP controls, Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICoFR), data privacy, trade compliance, NIS2, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain effective governance forums, compliance dashboards, reporting mechanisms, escalation processes, and management review routines.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, compliance tooling enhancements, and operational efficiencies to strengthen compliance maturity and transparency.
• Provide executive-level reporting on compliance posture, control effectiveness, risk exposure, regulatory developments, and remediation progress.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for business leaders, Internal Audit, Legal, Privacy, Finance, and regulatory stakeholders regarding risk and compliance matters.
• Build a strong compliance culture through stakeholder engagement, training, coaching, awareness programs, and change management initiatives.
• Lead and develop a team of Risk & Compliance professionals, fostering accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and high-performance delivery.

• GRC Specialist (14+ years)
