Our Service Offerings include External Audit, Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) , IFRS & US GAAP conversion , IPO and other public offering, Corporate Treasury - IFRS 9 accounting & implementation support etc.
Your key responsibilities
Technical Excellence
- Good understanding of IFRS/US/UK GAAP and International auditing standards.
- Technical accounting advisory on complex topics (e.g. business combinations, consolidation, shared based payments, financial instruments including debt/equity etc.)
- Coordinating with on-shore technical accounting teams to understand their accounting issue(s) and provide research assistance on an as-needed basis on U.S. GAAP and IFRS accounting pronouncements.
- Primary responsibility for project management in connection with project role and responsibilities, ensuring relevant information flow and appropriate coordination between cross-functional team members within the finance function
- Work on a variety of accounting matters through all stages, from initial client pitches to audit closing
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and technical writing skills
- Ability and comfort level in researching client inquires and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies
- Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice, as necessary
- Working experience in relation to the following services/solutions: o Accounting and regulatory support for accounting change and special matters o White paper writing skills o Provide comprehensive technical accounting guidance to clients, addressing complex issues and transactions. (Business Combination, consolidation, stock based compensation, revenue, leases accounting, etc) o Conduct research and analysis on accounting issues, documenting findings and proposing solutions. o Preparation of financial statements including accounting policies and governance o Accounting processes o Audit support and governance

To qualify for the role you must have
Qualification
- chartered Accountant
Experience
- •\tExperience of working in an advisory role. •\tManage a team of 20+ people •\tAdvanced skills and experience with: technical accounting matters, whitepapers on significant issues like consolidation, IFRS 15, 16 etc •\tGAAP Conversion through different GAAPs not limited to IFRS and USGAAP •\tHands-on consulting experience at a Big 4, or top tier consulting firm as a lead of the solution or a service line. •\tChartered Accountant (CA), CPA (US) or ACCA (UK) •\t10-12 years (post qualification) in Assurance including at least 3+ years of Financial Accounting and \\ Advisory experience
