About Global Delivery Services
Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.
Our journey started in 2002 with approximately 200 people. Today we stand at 80,000+ professionals in ten locations around the world. We operate in Argentina, China, Hungary, India, Philippines, Poland, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom.
Client service is focused on providing Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. The teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless, high-quality, value-added support, helping deliver exceptional client service.
Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.
Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.
The Opportunity
The role holder shall play a crucial role in ensuring we maintain a competitive edge by providing deep insights into market dynamics and competitive challenges. This position is responsible for developing impactful analyses that inform strategic decisions and drive growth. The person shall act as a trusted advisor on market trends, competitive positioning, and emerging opportunities. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, this position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in market research, data analysis, and competitive intelligence, combined with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Your Key Responsibilities
The person will be responsible for leading activities around 4 core areas:
- Go To Market Activities
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Support account teams on EY’s Managed Services offerings, to pitch Managed Services to prospective clients.
- Educate GCSPs and account teams on EY’s Managed Services offerings, build confidence in these offerings and equip account teams to pitch Managed Services to prospective clients
- Curates go-to-market strategies, battlecards, sales toolkit and offering specific content to equip solution leads and account teams to engage in conversations with the client on Managed Services
- Develop EY’s brand permission through engagement with industry forums, internet content, LinkedIn, EY led round tables and other channels on EY’s Managed Services capabilities.
- Utilize AI tools and technologies to enhance data analysis and insights generation.
- Account Activation
- Identify accounts with prospective opportunities for Managed Services through analysis of strength and depth of client relationships, adjacent services and propensity to outsource.
- Work with GCSP and account teams to plan activations workshops to identify opportunities Managed Services opportunities.
- Working with Managed Services solution leads, develop the client specific propositions, derived from globally standardized solutions.
- Identify strategies for engaging clients in Managed Services propositions.
- Lead client Wavespace activities to co-create propositions.
- Pursuits
- Actively engage in responding to RFPs, delivering oral presentations to clients, and participating in negotiations.
- Author proposals, ensuring adherence to the globally standard solutions. Curate proposal from historic proposal materials.
- Manage proposals by adhering to submissions timelines and specifications, and ensuring adherence to Manage Services and IT Operating Committee processes and member firm.
- Interface and communicate with various onsite and/or offshore stakeholders, including GDS and Client Technology to ensure alignment and commitment from all stakeholders on the proposal content.
- Solution Development:
- Create high-quality, client-focused solutions and artifacts that align with EY's pursuit process, runbooks, principles, guidelines, and objectives of Managed Services at EY
- Analyze existing processes (baseline/as-is) and design future state solutions (to-be) using EY's toolkit to meet client expectations
- Stay informed about the technology landscape, including AI and other emerging technologies and EY offerings, to improve client experience and operational efficiency
Key requirements:
- Stakeholder Engagement through sales, solutioning life-cycle and beyond:
- Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders, including MS Deal/Pursuit Leader, Cost and Pricing Architect, Contract and Commercial Architect, Transition Lead, Technical Lead, Data Lead, Service Management Lead, Commercial Management Office Lead, SME, Engagement Partner and Pursuit Lead
- Build strong relationships with Super Regions Leaders and Global Managed Services Solution Partners.
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:

- Analyze business and technical requirements to design operational and architectural blueprints that achieve business objectives.
- Propose architecture solutions based on business and technology considerations and suitable alternatives to satisfy client needs.
- Assess risks and commercial impact, providing input towards the design of specific priority managed services offerings.
- Make informed decisions to ensure the successful delivery of MS deals, balancing client needs and EY standards.
Supervision Responsibilities:
- Act independently with minimal supervision, making decisions that require interpretation and judgment.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing coaching and feedback to support their development.
Skills and attributes for success
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Understanding of competitive intelligence methods and frameworks.
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to engage audiences.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering complex MS deals, including multi-tower and first-of-kind engagements.
- Strong understanding of people, process, and technology operational models and their integration into MS solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to assess client environments, identify risks, and develop innovative, practical solutions.
- Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lead proposals, shape growth strategies, and manage complex delivery.
- Experience in creating and conducting impactful client presentations.
- Proficiency in productivity and diagramming tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
What we look for
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology and Masters’ degree preferred.
Experience:
- 12+ years of relevant industry experience, including experience in developing integrated managed services solutions.
- Proven experience in market research, competitive analysis, or a related field, e.g., 10 - 12 years’ experience in strategy, business analysis, consulting, industry research, management consulting, or business performance.
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing people.
- Knowledge of leading platforms and tools in Finance, Risk management, and IT services.
