Job Title: Operation Architect
Summary:
We are looking for highly skilled and experienced Technology Operations Manager / Solution Architect to lead the end-to-end ownership of a scalable enterprise data product platform in the corporate finance transformation space.
This role sits at the intersection of architecture, engineering, and operational excellence, responsible for driving platform scalability, delivery execution, and team leadership for a high-performing team . The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong operational rigor and stakeholder management, enabling the delivery of data-driven finance transformation solutions (P2P, O2C, R2R, FP&A, etc.) at scale.
You will play a critical leadership role in shaping data platform strategy, engineering standards, and delivery governance, while ensuring high availability, quality, and business value realization across client engagements.

Responsibilities:
Technology & Architecture Leadership
- Define , collaborate and own the architecture roadmap for scalable data platforms supporting finance transformation use cases
- Manage and some time implement robust, secure, and high-performance data pipelines and analytics layers (cloud-native)
- Establish architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices across data ingestion, processing, storage, and consumption layers
- Drive adoption of modern data stack (e.g., cloud data platforms, data lakes/lakehouse, orchestration, APIs, AI/ML enablement)
- Work with the DevOps team closely to create and own CI, CD , release management
- Lead incident management drives, situations and resolution.
Delivery & Operational Excellence
- Lead end-to-end delivery governance for multiple concurrent workstreams, ensuring timelines, quality, and outcmes
- Implement operating models for scaled delivery (agile, DevOps, SRE practices)
- Establish KPIs, SLAs, and performance monitoring frameworks for platform reliability, scalability, and cost optimization
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across engineering productivity, quality, and release management
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance frameworks are embedded in platform operations
Team Leadership & Talent Management
- Lead and scale a multi-disciplinary team including data engineers, architects, analysts, and DevOps specialists
- Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, innovation, and outcome delivery
- Drive resource planning, capability building, and skill development aligned to evolving platform needs
- Mentor and coach team members on technical depth, problem-solving, and client engagement
Business & Stakeholder Management
- Partner with business stakeholders, finance transformation leaders, and clients to translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Act as a bridge between business and technology, ensuring alignment to value realization and measurable outcomes
- Support solutioning, proposals, and client discussions with architecture and delivery inputs
- Communicate program status, risks, and value delivered to executive stakeholders
Platform & Product Mindset
- Drive a product-centric approach to platform development (reusability, modularity, scalability)
- Identify opportunities to industrialize solutions into reusable assets/platform capabilities
- Enable AI/analytics-driven insights on finance data to unlock business value

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 12–18+ years of experience in data engineering, platform architecture, and delivery leadership
- Proven experience leading large engineering teams in enterprise environments
Technical Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Expertise in data architecture patterns (data lakes, lakehouse, warehouses, distributed processing)
- Proficiency in data engineering tools and frameworks (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Airflow, DBT, etc.)
- Experience with API-driven architectures, microservices, and integration frameworks
- Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks
Operational & Delivery Skills
- Proven track record in driving large-scale delivery programs with strong governance
- Experience implementing DevOps, CI/CD, and SRE practices in data platforms
- Strong understanding of scalability, performance tuning, and cost optimization
Domain & Functional Knowledge
- Exposure to corporate finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R, FP&A) and finance data models
- Experience in finance transformation, analytics platforms, or data-led transformation programs is highly preferred
Leadership & Behavioral Skills
- Strong people leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (including executive-level engagement)
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- High ownership mindset with focus on outcomes, not just outputs
