Senior Manager (SAP S4HANA R2R & Tax)

 

Role Summary

 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager with strong expertise in SAP S4HANA/ECC R2R processes and deep knowledge of Indirect & Direct Tax configuration. The candidate must have led multiple end‑to‑end implementations and should be capable of managing client engagements, leading teams, and delivering high‑quality solutions.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead end-to-end SAP S4HANA/ECC implementations in the R2R workstream (minimum 4–5 full lifecycle implementations).
  • Drive the design, configuration, and deployment of indirect tax solutions within SAP S4HANA.
  • Oversee the setup and management of generic VAT return processes in SAP.
  • Manage Direct Tax responsibilities, including Fixed Asset Depreciation and Withholding Tax configuration.
  • Lead Indirect Tax processes such as VAT reporting, EC Sales, Intrastat, and statutory enhancements in General Ledger reporting.
  • Utilize the “Run Statutory Reports” Fiori app to generate accurate statutory and compliance reports.
  • Review and analyze compliance reports including EC Sales lists, Intrastat, SAF-T, and cross-border reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to tax regulations and provide expert guidance on indirect tax legislation and its application.
  • Mentor and guide team members; manage tasks, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
  • Collaborate with clients proactively and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.

 

Desirable Skills

 

  • Experience with Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) for E-invoicing and E-reporting.
  • Exposure to integration with external tax engines.
  • Prior consulting experience with large-scale transformations.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality project outcomes.
  • Strong team management and delegation skills.
  • Self-starter with strong time management and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship skills.
