GMx is part of the Managed Services Global Enabled Business Unit (MS GEBU) that provides end-to-end support for Managed Services (MS) opportunities — from solutioning and pricing to negotiation, contracting, transition, risk management and delivery improvement. Its purpose is to make MS expertise more accessible across Super Regions and Service Lines, as well as to reduce firms risk, reduce fragmentation and improve consistency. GMx will enable EY to better respond to the increasing volume and complexity of managed services opportunities while supporting consistent, high-quality client experience

 

The opportunity

This team is responsible for identifying systemic bottlenecks, developing and implementing best practices, tools, and methodologies, and driving continuous improvement to elevate client satisfaction and maximize project profitability.

Design Thinking and Strategy & Business Design Manager will be a change agent, for translating complex business discussions into clear, valueoriented deliverables and client outcomes. In this role, you will attend and synthesize client and internal meetings, rapidly grasp the proceedings, and convert them into compelling, valuebased slideware, build offering points of view (POVs), and gotomarket (GTM) materials. You will also plan and facilitate design thinking workshops to unlock customercentric solutions and drive pursuit or delivery outcomes.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • 8–10 years overall experience in consulting, strategy, product/solution marketing, or business analysis roles with demonstrated content leadership (POVs, GTM, executive storytelling).

Client & stakeholder engagement

  • Attend executive and working team meetings; capture themes, issues, decisions, actions; translate discussions into crisp storylines and artifacts (decks, briefs, one pagers) that drive decisions and momentum
  • Act as a trusted partner to pursuit leaders, delivery teams; tailor content for different audiences (C suite, business, and technical)

Value based content & GTM

  • Build POVs on the offering, industry and solution approaches; curate GTM collateral (talk tracks, slipsheets, case studies) aligned to EY brand guidance
  • Rapid creation of PowerPoint presentations
  • Build content & structure the output or message basis the enterprise persona 
  • Develop and maintain slide libraries, reusable modules, and “proof points” that showcase impact, metrics, and client value.

Design thinking & facilitation

  • Plan and run design thinking workshops (problem framing, empathy, ideation, prototyping) with clear objectives, agendas, and artifacts; drive convergence to prioritized solutions and next steps.
  • Coach cross functional teams on DT mindsets, tools, and rapid experiment techniques; convert outputs into tangible deliverables and backlogs.

Engagement delivery & governance

  • Structure workplans, risks, and interlocks across pursuit/delivery workstreams; prepare SteerCo updates and execution dashboards
  • Uphold EY quality, brand, and confidentiality standards across all materials and interactions.
  • Knowledge & brand stewardship- ensure finalized assets (POVs, GTM decks, credentials) are in alignment to the branding guidelines

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • Qualification: MBA or a Master’s degree in any discipline (business, engineering, design, or related field)
  • Certifications or prior training in Design Thinking
  • Advanced PowerPoint and visualstorytelling skills; experience working with branded templates and content submission processes
  • Build content & structure the output or message basis the enterprise persona 
  • Business acumen across one or more industries with a track record of leading the engagement
  • Strong facilitation background, including scoping and running designthinking workshops endtoend
  • Proven ability to synthesize meetings into structured narratives, prioritize what matters, and communicate insights to senior stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to communicate complex concepts simply and influence senior stakeholders.
