IAM Managed Services Senior Manager
The Senior Manager for Managed Service IAM (Identity and Access Management) is responsible for leading and managing the delivery of IAM managed services and IGA projects. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, project management, and technical expertise in IAM and IGA solutions. The Senior Manager will ensure that services are delivered in accordance with best practices, industry standards, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive transition strategy, design, and plan to ensure seamless integration and migration of services and operations.
- Develop and execute IAM strategies that align with the organization's objectives.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in IAM services.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Managed Service Oversight:
- Responsible for the delivery of IAM managed services, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met or exceeded.
- Monitor service performance, conduct regular service reviews, and implement corrective actions as needed and be single POC for clients.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Project Delivery:
- Lead the delivery of IGA projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes effectively.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IGA solutions with other systems and processes.
Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IAM professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
- Manage resource allocation and scheduling to meet service and project delivery commitments.
Technical Expertise:
- Maintain deep knowledge of IAM technologies, trends, and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight for the design and implementation of IAM and IGA solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance service offerings.
Client Engagement:
- Engage with clients to understand their IAM requirements and challenges.
- Develop and present proposals, reports, and findings to clients and senior management.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through excellent service delivery and communication.
- Coordination, review, and implementation of other requests such as:
- Demonstrable experience of strategic and tactical thinking and working in information sensitive business(es)
- High degree of empathy, assertiveness, and persuasiveness and potential to lead small teams
- Manage all team HR functions including hiring, training, planning and assigning work, coaching and development, talent and performance management and conducting annual reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Proven track record of managing IAM services and delivering on SLAs and KPIs.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in IAM and IGA, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of IAM and IGA principles, frameworks, and technologies.
- Excellent project management skills and experience with project management tools and methodologies.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Working Requirements:
- Office environment with the possibility of remote work.
- Occasional travel may be required for client meetings or professional development.
Performance Metrics:
- Manage the delivery of IAM managed services, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the IAM team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to support IAM initiatives.
- Implement strategies to enhance client satisfaction and address any issues that may impact client perceptions and experiences.
- Adherence to project delivery schedules and budget constraints.
- Performance of the team and advancement of their professional development.
