Job Title:  Leader _ Wealth and Asset Management (Custody and Corporate Actions)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Executive Director with deep functional and technical expertise in custody and investment technology to lead strategic transformation initiatives across settlements, static reference data, corporate actions, and tax, while driving implementation programs on platforms such as FNZ, CAD, NeoXam, Calypso, and other third-party solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership and cross-functional coordination with exceptional client engagement and stakeholder management skills to influence operating models and transform how sales teams and clients interact through technology. This role demands broad technical acumen, including enterprise IT architecture, modern development practices, and hands-on experience in system integration across Middle Office, Back Office, Static Data, Corporate Actions, and custody change processes. Expertise in static and reference data management is critical, along with familiarity with cloud technologies and integration frameworks relevant to financial services. Prior experience in Custodian platform change and migration will be a great plus.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead large-scale transformation and system implementation programs, ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong acumen on technology and data aspects
  • Lead and manage custody transformation initiatives by consolidating custodian services under a single provider.
  • Oversee the end-to-end trade settlement process, ensuring timely and accurate execution of trades across various asset classes under client’s new platform/custodian.
  • Define and refine the custody and investment operations TOM, process re-engineering approaches, and industry best practices.
  • Manage corporate actions processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Provide expert guidance on various asset classes, including Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives, to support investment strategies and client needs.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and external partners to drive business growth and client satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Review and sign off business requirements and functional specifications.

 

Qualifications:

  • Over 20–25 years of experience in delivering technology solution across securities, custody, investment management, or functional consulting within financial services.
  • Strong track record in large-scale transformation programs and multi-system implementations.
  • Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Expertise in documenting and presenting strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA
  • Proficiency in relevant financial software and tools.
  • Strong communication skills in English are essential, and proficiency in Italian and German is a plus.
