Staff - To sum up, the Staff role provides a unique opportunity for F&A professionals to pursue their career in leading, working and managing end-to-end process of F&A for large global corporate clients, which helps them to shape their career
Your key responsibilities
- Develop brief understanding of day-to-day activities and transactions related to accounting matters and make sure they are properly addressed.
- Assist in preparation of income tax returns and workpapers for income taxes with internal teams or with EY country teams.
- Statutory Provision - Manage and assist in preparation of annual statutory provisions as per local GAAP with EY country teams. Assist in data compilation and workpaper preparation, where needed.
- Account reconciliation - Prepare and review balance sheet accounts reconciliation, collect supporting documents and work with clients on reconciling items. Prepare and book rectification journal entries, where needed.
- Other functions - Prepare and review journal entry package, return to provision entries, etc., and submit them for client’s approval.
- Performing general accounting activities and recording financial transactions
- Perform reconciliations of accounts and get to details for any discrepancies.
- Performing month end book closing
- Perform accounting related analysis and generate reports to support finance Queries.
- Preparation of FS under Local GAAP for local legal entities
- Co-ordinating and handling the audit queries
- Analysing financial reports and support with conclusions

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in accounting / MBA Finance / CA Inter / CWA Inter
- 0 to three years of experience in Finance and Accounts, good knowledge and experience in accounting, including a mixture of oil and gases industry experience.
- Strong accounting skills with an interest to learn
- Strong communication skills, Strong computer skills, including an intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
