Introduction to the team
Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR) is EY’s integrated suite of tax and accounting services designed to support multinational clients with their global compliance and regulatory needs. GCR simplifies the end-to-end compliance process by:
- Managing the complexity of regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions
- Centrally coordinating global compliance and reporting activities
- Optimizing the overall cost and efficiency of compliance delivery
Globally, tax and accounts preparation activities are conducted mostly in the local countries and hence requires a wide network of EY professionals to work together to deliver to the client expectations.
The Global Operations (GO) team specializes in integrating GCR services, geographies, data, and the client experience by providing global risk management, performance management, process excellence, and information management, all through a unified point of contact.

Job purpose and Career impact
The staff role supports the industrialized delivery of global Tax and Finance annuity services for multinational clients. It sits at the centre of Global Operations, driving consistent service delivery, operational discipline, data accuracy, and adherence to governance standards across multi‑country engagements.
The role works closely with engagement teams, country delivery centers, process teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure high‑quality delivery, accurate reporting, effective risk and issue management, and continuous process improvement.
This position builds a strong foundation in global service delivery, governance, and operational excellence, preparing individuals for progression into senior service management and leadership roles
Your key responsibilities
Engagement & Delivery Support
- Support the day-to-day operational management of global, multi country engagements.
- Track service delivery milestones, KPIs, and SLAs across jurisdictions and service lines.
- Coordinate with country teams to ensure timely and accurate compliance and reporting outcomes.
Governance & Risk Monitoring
- Support global governance processes by maintaining engagement documentation, trackers, and dashboards.
- Monitor delivery risks, operational issues, and service exceptions and escalate appropriately.
- Ensure adherence to defined runbooks, operating models, and global standards.
Process Excellence
- Identify process inefficiencies and recurring delivery challenges.
- Support implementation of standardised processes, tools, and templates across engagements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as a coordination point between global teams, engagement leadership, and delivery centres.
- Support communication, reporting, and issue resolution workflows.

Desired qualification and experiences
- 2–4 years of professional experience in relevant roles
- Understanding of backend financial processes within an organization
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Commerce or Business Management
- Proven experience working in a multicultural, collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
