The opportunity

As a Functional Tester, you will be accountable & responsible to Prepare test strategy, test plan, test scenario, test scripts based on the project requirements. Execute functional and regression test cases. Report the defects in tracking tool and ensure its closure through STLC process. Involve in review meetings and walk through meetings. Candidate should have knowledge on Banking – cards, payments, Retail banking, Online commercial bank & ACH.

Skills and attributes for success

• Experience in Banking with hands on Functional testing in cards, payments, Retail banking, online commercial bank & ACH
• Understanding the entire modules and their functionality by verifying the Functional Specification and Style guide issued by the client
• Experience in Payments life cycle with different parties
• Experience in validating API with different methods and integration testing of APIs
• Hands on experience in testing different modules in core banking solutions
• Understanding the entire modules and their functionality by verifying the Functional Specification and Style guide issued by the client
• Able to write and execute the Test Cases for Functional Testing.
• Hands on Mobile testing on Android, IOS devices
• Accessibility testing on Desktop & Mobile testing
• API automation experience using Rest API/POSTMAN and other market tools
• Maintaining the Bug Reports and delivery Note details
• Involved in Peer-Review of the test cases, Sanity Testing, Smoke Testing, Regression Testing, System Testing and User Acceptances Testing
• Organizing, monitoring defect management process
• Handling changes and conducting Regression Testing
• Involved in review meetings and walk through meetings
• Attend status calls as needed to report on testing progress
• Review’s data regarding production issues and requests to uncover defects and revises testing strategies as needed
• Hands on experience on test management tools like JIRA, ADO, ALM

Academic and Work experience

• BE/BTech/MCA/M.Sc.
• 2-5 years of UAT/Business testing experience in Banking modules with hands on API and Functional automation testing.

• Should have excellent communication skills & should be able to articulate concisely & clearly
• Good experience in API automation, Functional Automation, SQL queries
• Should be ready to do an individual contributor as well as Team Leader role is what we look for
• Experience in developing proof-of-concepts and Tool selection should have played the role of an individual contributor, interfacing with the clients and address their business needs
