Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.

Client service is focused on providing Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. The teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless, high-quality, value-added support, helping deliver exceptional client service.
Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.
Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.
The Opportunity
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Analysts across multiple locations.
- Drive capability development through structured training, competency frameworks, and BA best‑practice standards.
- Manage resource allocation, performance evaluations, coaching, and career development.
- Foster a high‑performance, collaborative, and accountable team culture.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Fund Accounting Operations, Technology, Product Owners, and Global Business Teams.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, facilitate requirement discussions, negotiate priorities, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Drive governance forums, steering committee discussions, and coordinating with Senior leadership.
- Build strong working relationships with US‑based teams and support initiatives aligned with global operating models.
- Translate business goals into detailed epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize backlog items, manage change requests, and define release scopes.
- Evaluate new technologies (AI/ML, automation tools, workflow systems) for applicability within Fund Accounting.
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of medium to large transformation programs involving system enhancements, process redesign, and regulatory initiatives.
- Establish project KPIs/OKRs, track progress, manage risks, and ensure timely and quality deliverables.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional workstreams, vendor partners, and offshore teams.
- Oversee UAT strategy, test cycles, and production readiness activities.
- Support fund launch activities, product lifecycle changes, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate manual processes and enhance data integrity.
- Partner with Technology/Automation teams to identify and deploy RPA, low‑code solutions, workflow enhancements, and data quality frameworks.
- Strengthen control frameworks aligned with audit, compliance, SOX, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Technology teams to define system architecture, data models, interface requirements, and solution designs.
- Review functional specifications, BRDs, FRDs, data mapping sheets, and system workflow designs.
- Provide oversight on data analytics, SQL‑based validations, and basic scripting (Python/R) where applicable.
Skills and attributes for success
- 12+ years of experience in WAM industry with specific expertise in US based asset management, fund accounting and fund administration.
- Master’s degree in accounting or finance (mandatory). MBA or CA preferred.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP, mutual funds, private Equity Structures, Real Estate fund accounting & fund regulatory frameworks.
- Should be versatile and have a good understanding on working with Technology platforms/frameworks/tools.
- Fair understanding of accounting tools/framework like Investran, eFront, Geneva, Yardi will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge and understanding of WAM domain and deep knowledge of capital market OTC derivative products (Equity, Commodities, Currencies, Rates, Cash and Credit).
- Should have thorough understanding of different sections of a financial statement: balance sheet, income statement, cashflow, schedule of investments.
- Experience in requirements documentation and experience in all stages of project life cycle including analysis, design, build and test support and implementation.
- Deep functional knowledge of product taxonomies, including positions, holdings, transactions, and valuation models
- Experience documenting functional, non functional, and data requirements, including process flows and data lineage.
- Exposure to SQL, Python or R tool-based analytics is nice to have.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with senior stakeholders.
- The candidate must be a highly motivated individual who can handle all levels of complexity in the respective areas of operation.
- Should pay attention to detail, proficient in MS applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on detail, quality, and accuracy.
- The applicant must be comfortable functioning in a fast-paced environment driven by deadlines.
