EYP Quality – Region Quality Enablement
Position title – Assistant Manager – Rank 42 (2)
Team background – Quality Team is primarily responsible for supporting quality and risk management (QRM) for the business teams in Europe Central region. As the first line of defense for business teams, we ensure that the firm’s risk and quality processes are effectively implemented. Our focus is to support client-facing colleagues, ensuring that our engagements do not jeopardize the firm’s reputation or expose it to risk. We provide expert guidance to Partners and their engagement teams in complying with the firm’s policies, quality standards, and mandatory requirements.
Position – the individual will work closely with the local Region Quality Leader to assist in various global and local quality initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing subject-matter expertise on SaT Quality policies and processes.
- Understanding key firm policies and internal tools, including risk management policies, Global SaT policies, and local guidance to support engagement teams on live cases.
- Acting as a bridge amongst different teams: global service line quality, global/local risk management, global/local conflicts, global/local Independence team, and regional/country leadership.
- Keeping abreast of emerging issues and creating training to communicate new developments and their impacts.
- Devise improvement plans for the practice and implement new policies and processes.
Technical responsibilities
- Providing consultations on complex, market-driven issues on live engagements related to client and engagement acceptance, service offerings, engagement agreements, regulatory matters, report releases, third-party setups etc.
- Reviewing mark-ups on legal agreements, including engagement agreements, Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and third-party letters.
- Creating and updating local sub-service line or competency policies in response to global or local regulatory changes, including updating legal templates and creating relevant guidance.
- Maintaining and updating the Quality SharePoint site, accreditation database, and other policies and procedures.
- Conducting quality-based training for new joiners and advanced QRM training for senior team members (PPEDs).
- Performing various compliance checks, including Client and Personal Independence testing, contractual testing, and compliance with tools like PACE, GEAR, and ARC.
- Identifying and resolving policy and procedure issues, violations, and concerns.
- Driving Region Quality matters by taking ownership and interacting with Senior Management, leadership across geographies, and engagement teams.

Required experience/skills/attributes:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field
- A minimum of 5-6 years of relevant work experience; prior relevant experience in a public accounting firm is strongly preferred
- An internationally recognized industry relevant designation in either risk management or compliance areas would be beneficial
- Strong knowledge of transaction advisory services; experience within the legal field would be a plus
- An enhanced understanding of the key requirements of quality and risk management policies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong research and project management skills with attention to detail
