Wavespace Experience Manager (Associate Director)

Your key responsibilities
As a wavespace Experience Manager you’ll choreograph and help design experiences, both bespoke and repeatable, to be used across wavespace for a diverse roster of clients.
- Maintain oversight of wavespace experience staffing, application of technology, design, and creative elements to ensure expectations of clients, account teams and other internal EY stakeholders are met
- Approve staffing, final design, and pricing/costs with Experience Leader
- Manage session escalations as issues arise, and ensure proper financing expectations with customers (client teams and internal session teams)
- Confirm accurate accounting (costing, reporting, billing, and collections)
- Deliver client results that lead to influenced sales
- Maximize innovation opportunities while respecting client constraints
- Identify client blind spots to expose broader opportunity areas
- Leverage trust, influence to encourage the account team and the client to think bigger
- Create a safe place for team discussion and dialogue
- Consider all team ideas and approaches with an open mind
- Display expertise in wavespace methodology and/or design thinking methodology
- Articulate the strengths and weaknesses of different approaches
- Understand which approach is best for a given client need or innovation opportunity
- Support the design process, and lead wavespace sessions in any venue
- Deliver client results that lead to influenced sales
Skills and attributes for success
This is a highly visible role with significant client and leadership interaction.
To qualify you must have
- Design thinking experience
- Proven track record of successful design and delivery of innovation sessions
- 16+ years of experience in design thinking, facilitation & team management
- Strong consulting experience
- Adept creative problem-solving skills and the ability to compromise around needs of the client, account team and the design team
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Advanced degree in Design Thinking
