EY GDS – Data and Analytics (D&A) – Tableau – Senior

As part of our EY-GDS D&A (Data and Analytics) team, we help our clients solve complex business challenges with the help of data and technology. We dive deep into data to extract the greatest value and discover opportunities in key business and functions like Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing and Auto, Supply Chain, and Finance.

The opportunity

We’re looking for Senior Tableau Developer  with strong technology and data understanding having proven delivery capability. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm as well as a part of a growing Data and Analytics team.

Your key responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

• Engages with internal partners to understand business strategy, questions and goals. Brings structure to business requests, translates requirements into an analytical project approach, and leads projects through completion. Delegates tasks and provides tactical and strategic guidance to peers.
• Acquires and compiles structured and unstructured data and verifies its quality, accuracy and reasonableness.
• Performs analyses of historical data to surface trends and insights using advanced analytical methods. Validates analytical techniques employed by other analysts.
• Advanced SQL, Python, Tableau Visualization and Data story telling.
• Experience with AWS tools like Athena, Glue, S3, CloudFormation and Redshift.
• Owns various business products.
• Manages defects and outages.
• Expertise with Jira, creating own stories, managing backlog
• 9.Influences operational results for the department.
• Informs department’s processes by identifying recurring issues for future improvements.
• Builds short-term roadmap and vision for product(s). Independently identifies opportunities using data.
• Owns and refines product backlog.
• Oversees and drives program and product level resiliency.
• Advanced domain expertise. Consulted by others across CDAO & Vanguard.
• Frames business problems and suggests solutions to stakeholders.
• Effectively presents in front of mid to senior level audiences.
• Is the voice and brand ambassador for Analytics with internal partners.
• Proactively identifies issues and problem-solves, driving to resolution.
• Proactively manages information flow to Analytics Management and partners.
• Prepares and delivers visualizations and internal presentations that translate analytic insights into tangible, actionable solutions for business partners to implement.
• Develops, owns and manages recurring analytic or reporting processes.
• Mentors, coaches, trains, and develops junior data analysts. Proactively expands knowledge of business and analytics and shares with team members. Shares and documents best practices.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Skills

• Expertise in Advanced in SQL, Python, Tableau Visualization, Jira and Stakeholder Management. 
  Familiarity in Athena, Glue, S3, CloudFormation, Redshift

Qualifications

Minimum of Six to eight years related work experience.

Graduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
