The opportunity

We’re looking for Senior – To design, develop, and maintain solutions that connect Benchling (Electronic Lab Notebook) with Takeda’s internal and external system.

Your key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based integration scripts and applications to connect Benchling with internal systems.
• Design and implement AWS-based solutions (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Step Functions) for scalable and secure integrations.
• Work with Benchling APIs to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data between Benchling and other platforms.
• Experience with  CI/CD pipelines like GitHub, GitHub Actions, JFroq

Skills and attributes for success

• Programming: Strong proficiency in Python (including libraries like requests, pandas, boto3).
• Cloud: Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, Step Functions).
• APIs: Experience working with RESTful APIs, especially Benchling API.
• Data Handling: Knowledge of JSON, CSV, and data transformation techniques.
• No prior knowledge of Benchling is required.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• BE/BTech/MCA/MBA
• Minimum 4+ years hand-on experience in one or more key areas.
• Minimum 4 - 7 years of industry experience
