We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst – Senior Consultant to support the development and delivery of enterprise BI reporting solutions using Power Platform technologies. In this role, you will focus on building scalable dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and consistency, and supporting data-driven decision-making across business functions. You will work closely with senior team members and stakeholders to maintain high-quality reporting environments, enhance performance, and contribute to enterprise analytics initiatives while strengthening your expertise in modern data platforms and tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Development
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets using:
    • SQL
    • DAX
    • Power Query
  • Build efficient and reusable data models and reporting structures for consistent analytics delivery
  • Develop and optimize T-SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting needs
  • Support creation and enhancement of semantic models to enable scalable enterprise reporting
  • Ensure reporting solutions are:
    • Performant
    • Scalable
    • Aligned with business requirements
  • Continuously improve reporting solutions through optimization and best practices

• Data Integration & Quality
  • Consume and integrate data from multiple sources, including:
    • APIs
    • Databricks platforms
    • Cloud-based data environments
  • Assist in building and maintaining data models ensuring consistency across systems
  • Support implementation of:
    • Data quality checks
    • Validation frameworks
    • Reconciliation processes
  • Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and discrepancies
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability across reporting layers

• Support & Operations
  • Provide L2 support for reporting and data issues across Power Platform
  • Monitor reporting environments for:
    • Data refresh failures
    • Performance issues
    • Data anomalies
  • Troubleshoot and resolve:
    • Data inconsistencies
    • Query performance bottlenecks
    • Report failures
  • Support ongoing maintenance and stability of enterprise reporting platforms
  • Assist in improving operational efficiency of BI solutions

• Collaboration
  • Work closely with:
    • Senior Data Analysts
    • Data Engineers
    • Business stakeholders
  • Understand business requirements and support delivery of relevant reporting solutions
  • Participate in:
    • Agile ceremonies (sprints, stand-ups, reviews)
    • Documentation and knowledge sharing activities
  • Contribute to improving team processes and data delivery standards
  • Communicate insights and technical solutions effectively to stakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with:
  • Power BI (reports, datasets, dashboards)
  • SQL (querying, data transformation)
  • DAX (basic to intermediate level calculations)
  • Power Query (data transformations)
• Experience working with enterprise reporting and analytics systems
• Strong understanding of data extraction, transformation, and reporting workflows
• Familiarity with handling large datasets and multi-source data environments

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data and reporting issues efficiently
• Attention to detail with focus on data quality and accuracy

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Databricks and cloud platforms (Azure / AWS)
• Basic understanding of data modeling concepts (star/snowflake)
• Experience working with APIs and data integration workflows
• Awareness of data governance and reporting best practices

Education:

• Degree: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
