EY GDS – Data and Analytics (D&A) – Data Visualization Architect - Manager

As part of our EY-GDS D&A (Data and Analytics) team, we help our clients solve complex business challenges with the help of data and technology. We dive deep into data to extract the greatest value and discover opportunities in key business and functions like Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing and Auto, Supply Chain, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• 8+ Years of experience in creation of compelling data visualizations and dashboards that clearly communicate data insights and trends. Develop interactive and static visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI or similiar Visualization tools
• Collaborate with stake holders (data engineers and analysts) to gather, clean, and integrate data from various sources. Ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data visualizations.
• Focus on user-centric design principles to ensure visualizations are intuitive and meet the needs of different stakeholders. Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on feedback.
• Develop and implement best practices for data visualization architecture. Establish guidelines and standards for creating and maintaining visualizations.
• Work with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and business leaders to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable visual insights.
• Optimize the performance of data visualizations to handle large datasets efficiently and ensure quick load times.
• Should have experience on Requirements Gathering and Analyse the needs based on User requirement, estimating the same in terms of effort/timeline, providing solutions for proposals
• Provide training and support to end-users on how to interact with and interpret the visualizations. Create documentation and user guides as needed.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data visualization. Propose and implement new tools and techniques to enhance the visualization capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience in data visualization and dashboard development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. Experience with tools such as Tableau, Power BI or similar is required.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and experience with data manipulation and transformation. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
• Design Skills: Strong understanding of design principles, including layout, color theory, and typography. Experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or similar is advantageous.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data sets and identify key insights. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Project Management & Others: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Should have exposure on RFPs, Estimation and Planning for the same

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
• Experience with user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
