InfoSec GRC – Developer

The opportunity
We are seeking an Archer Developer to join our team and play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our InfoSec Archer platform. The ideal candidate will engage in the full software lifecycle, collaborate on solution designs, and leverage Archer's capabilities to automate and improve business processes. With a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills, this developer will contribute to our product roadmap and ensure our GRC solutions align with industry trends and best practices. Hands-on experience with Archer v12.x, data analysis, and various programming languages are essential for this role.
Your key responsibilities
The Archer Developer role encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities, central to which is the design and configuration of various components using both core and custom Archer modules. The developer will be actively involved in the entire software lifecycle, from analysis to deployment, ensuring that solutions are robustly tested and successfully integrated into the enterprise Archer platform. Collaboration with product owners / program business analysts is crucial to align solution designs with business needs, including process mapping, module development, and the creation of comprehensive documentation such as layouts, workflows, reports, and user manuals. Additionally, the developer will contribute to the design of integrated data flows, own releases across development stages for their scope of work and provide ongoing maintenance and support. A key part of the role involves leveraging Archer's capabilities to optimize and automate business processes. The developer will also play a strategic role in shaping the product's future by contributing to the Archer product roadmap, through collaboration with the GRC service owner and manager, and maintain development practices standards, in line with industry trends and organizational objectives.
Skills and attributes for success
- Strong analytical and design skills, including the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient and effective technical designs that work well within large-scale, well-structured enterprise environments
- Strong trouble-shooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify and document the root cause of issues, and effectively communicate possible resolutions
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
- Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a distributed team environment focused on delivering quality services and solutions
- Possess solid grasp of Agile or other rapid application development methods
- Be flexible to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry trends and standards of the Archer suite of products
- Provide suggestions for technical design improvements and demonstrate problem solving
- Demonstrated knowledge of the IT & Security Risk, Enterprise & Operational Risk, Third Party Governance and Business Resiliency uses cases of Archer.
To qualify for the role you must have
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related experience required.
- In-depth knowledge of all Archer core solutions, their practical intention, their out of box workflows and on-demand applications in RSA Archer v12.x
- Hands-on Agile experience analyzing business requirements and breaking them down into detailed user stories, including UI, workflow and access requirements
- 2-4 years experience configuring Archer modules both out of box and on demand applications, advanced workflow, access roles and groups
- 1-3 years demonstrated ability working with data and performing data analysis with a basic understanding of data analysis principles
- Experience with Oracle, SQL, Javascript, Json, .Net, Python, C.
- Experience with solution design and implementation within IaaS, PaaS and SaaS and hybrid model environments preferred
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Certification in one or more of the following areas: RSA Archer, Agile, Microsoft, ITIL
- Experience with RSA Archer SaaS offerings
