Role: Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Solution Architect to join our dynamic team.  As the Senior Solution Architect, you will be responsible for leading a team of highly technical solution architects and providing technical leadership in the design and implementation of our blockchain-based financial services infrastructure. You will collaborate with key stakeholders, such as product managers, engineers, and business leaders, to define the technical roadmap and ensure successful delivery of our products and services.

In the first three months, expect to:

• Get familiar with the existing technology stack and architecture
• Lead the design and implementation of new features and enhancements
• Work closely with the product management team to understand business requirements
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure high-quality and scalable solutions

In the first year, expect to:

• Establish and enforce architectural standards and best practices
• Mentor and develop the technical skills of your team members
• Lead the evaluation and adoption of new technologies and frameworks
• Define and drive the technical roadmap for our blockchain-based financial services infrastructure

Role Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of solution architects
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business leaders to define the technical roadmap
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable and secure solutions
• Ensure adherence to architectural standards, best practices, and industry regulations
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and drive the adoption of innovative solutions
• Mentor and develop the technical skills of team members

Role Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software development 
• 3+ years of experience as a solutions architect
• Proven track record of leading the design and implementation of complex, scalable, and secure solutions
• Strong knowledge of blockchain technology and its applications in the financial services industry
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and cloud-based solutions
• Deep understanding of API architecture styles (REST, RPC, GraphQL, etc)
• Proficiency in .NET / C# development stack 
• Desired to be familiar with other programming languages such as Python
• Deep understanding of CI / CD concepts and experience with related tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions etc.)
• Strong knowledge of secure coding principles (OWASP, etc)
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards
